After 43 years of doing the Old Fashion Private Picnic Park we are closing the doors for good. In those years we have severed close to 700,000 people and have enjoyed providing a one of a kind of private park and where honored to have those companies/corporations/weddings being our guess.
The park is now a place for me to teach fly casting to beginners to experts, or just wanting to buff up their cast.
We thank those who had chosen the Wonderland Ranch to serve them !

We took on the Wonderland Ranch business in 1987. Yes, that's a while ago; 32 years exactly. We are proud to say that we have operated our business solely with the help of one family, the Smullens, who have been with us for almost the entire time and continue with us to this day. In fact, without all of them, we would not have survived! Kelsey, who now runs our kitchen and has a baby boy of her own, was a tiny baby when we came together way back then. Kelsey's Dad, Jerry, a retired Army Master Sergeant, was our ranch manager for over 25 yrs. Her Mom, Jeanne, does all the sales work, helps her daughter with food purchasing and food prep in our kitchen here at the ranch, runs the craft table and so much more. Their son, Jim, helps Chad with all the outside maintenance and on picnic days, is our famous "grill master". We are so fortunate to have such a devoted staff and wonderful family connection. We all work very hard to make sure you receive the best home cooked meals posssible, and that you receive all the help you need in planning your event to make it a great day for everyone. Thank you for continuing to put your trust in all of us here at Wonderland Ranch. And as we say, " May all your days be picnic days".

Organizers of last weekend's benefit concert in Black Forest said they have met their goal of raising $10,000 to help fire victims.
