As we close blue belle I wanted to share my own personal goodbye. Cause I love this
Downtown Bixby Family.
The decision to close Blue Belle Bridal Boutique was not a reflection of its potential, performance, or future opportunity. The business itself showed promise, growth, and the ability to evolve into something truly special within our community.
As the primary investor, I carried the financial commitment and believed deeply in what we were building. That belief never wavered. However, as with many ventures, clarity in roles is essential. This decision ultimately came down to a miscommunication and misalignment regarding what an investor relationship entails—particularly the expectations and responsibilities tied to a sweat equity partnership.
This decision is also not a reflection of Downtown Bixby. The community, the growth, and the support within this area continue to be something special, and we remain confident in its future and the businesses that call it home.
Sunny Rae Room remains a part of that vision. Its mission is to create a space where people can gather, celebrate, and build meaningful connections through elevated, thoughtfully curated experiences. That mission continues forward with the same heart, intention, and commitment to this community.
We are proud of what was created, the clients we served, and the moments we were a part of. This is not an ending rooted in failure, but rather a redirection—making space for new opportunities that better reflect alignment, clarity, and sustainability moving forward.
