Hey y'all! We’ve had so many new faces around here lately, so I figured it was time for a little hello 🤍

I’m Shelby — founder and planner behind , wife to Reid Knight, and forever a lover of all things beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated.

I’m a hospitality girl at heart (with 10+ years at Marriott and Hilton before this!) turned wedding planner, detail-obsessed in the best way, timeline queen, and someone who truly believes the magic is in the little things. I get to spend my days walking alongside the sweetest people, bringing meaningful celebrations to life, and I still can’t believe this is what God gave me and what I get to call my career.

When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me outside, traveling, reading a good book, snuggling with pups, rearranging something in my home, or pouring into other planners and creatives along the way.

We are so, so grateful you’re here — cheering on this journey and all the beautiful moments we get to create together ✨

The past six months inside Wedding Planner Mastermind have been so special — in the best, most unexpected way.💜

What started as a space to grow The Southern Planner turned into so much more. The encouragement, the conversations, the people… truly something that has impacted our business deeply.

On March 18th in Birmingham, we celebrated the end of this season and Becky’s 15 years in business — and it was *so* thoughtfully done. Every detail felt intentional, elevated, and completely true to her.

But more than anything, it was about what she’s built.

Because of Becky, The Southern Planner is stepping into this next season with more clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose in how we serve our fantastic clients.

So, so grateful for this experience and this community 🤍
