All Things Briarwood | June 18

Our Special Connections Ministry recently enjoyed a sweet time fellowship together over painting and snacks. There are more events like this throughout the summer so please join us for Donuts with Dads this Sunday.

If you’re looking for a way to grow in your faith this summer, our drop-in Bible studies are the perfect place to start. We have a men’s group and women’s group that meet every week.

Join us for an Independence Day Celebration on June 28th at 6pm. We’ll sing patriotic music and honor our veterans and active duty members before hearing a message from Dr. Redd.

We would love to see you this Sunday! In the morning services, we will be studying Psalm 78. In the evening, we will continue our study of the Gospel of Mark.

For more information of any of this week’s announcements, please visit the Briarwood App.

The Trailblazers take on T-town🐘

A group from our Senior Adults Ministry met with a Briarwood ministry partner, Scotty Hollins, who gave them a tour around the University of Alabama. Hollins guided our members around campus as he told them about his ministry as the Chaplain of Alabama Basketball.

All Things Briarwood | June 11

At VBS last week, some of our children held lemonade stands in their neighborhoods to raise funds for our mission focus, Tenwek Hospital Eye Center. They made their own fresh lemonade and told their neighbors all about the mission of Tenwek: “We treat, Jesus heals.”

We ask you to continue praying for all the children who attended VBS. Let’s join together to ask the Lord to draw them to Himself.

Super Summer lasts six more weeks! If your children want a summer they won’t forget, sign up on our website today.

We would love to worship with you this Sunday! In the morning services, we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper together and studying Psalm 8. In the evening, we will be studying the Gospel of Mark.
