✨ Celebrating 30 Years of Xi Mu Excellence! 💙💛🐩

Honored to have captured the unforgettable 30th Chapter Anniversary of the legendary Xi Mu Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated! What an incredible milestone for a chapter rooted in sisterhood, scholarship, and service.

Over the past 30 years, this chapter has:
💫 Championed monthly community service projects with local partners like Habitat for Humanity, The American Red Cross, and Jessie’s Place.

📚 Supported academic achievement and leadership — earning awards like the Advisor’s Cup for Scholarship while members serve in leadership roles across campus.

💖 Raised funds and awareness for causes including March of Dimes, St. Jude, Susan G. Komen, and more — all while strengthening sisterhood through meaningful fellowship and purpose-driven initiatives.

Here’s to three decades of Greater Service, Greater Progress — and to the sorors whose passion, heart, and persistence continue to shape the legacy of Xi Mu and Sigma Gamma Rho! 📸💫

With all the violence and crime they show on the news on a daily basis it was refreshing to document the Juneteenth Celebration in Selma. No violence. Several successful vendors, and business owners setup and sold products and services and we all enjoyed each others presence to celebrate the history, culture, and ancestry. ✊🏽
