Located in the heart of Birmingham, Alabama, Mariée Ami introduces the wedding community to the Southeast’s premier full-service wedding planning studio. We view our relationship with the bride as a true partnership of working together to create a beautiful, seamless wedding day. According to Neillie Butler, owner of Mariée Ami, one of the greatest rewards of this business has been the long time friendships she has established with so many of her brides. Mariée Ami has assembled a team of Alabama’s premier wedding planners. Our team consists of planners as well as an in-house graphic designer who will strive to create the wedding of our brides’ dreams. The full-time team works together to ensure each wedding receives particular attention so that no detail is over looked. Each member of our team works to make the wedding planning experience fun for all while also mastering the true art of planning.

A study in warm browns, natural textures, and mountain views. 🏔️

Set against the landscape, we leaned into a palette of espresso, caramel, and warm neutrals, bringing a subtle Western influence into the tent without taking away from the setting. Live trees and layered textures softened the space, while a custom-toned floor grounded the design and added just enough depth.

As September settles in and we welcome the moodier tones of the season, this celebration feels especially fitting. Navy, burgundy, emerald, mahogany, and warm antique textures came together to transform a ballroom into something that felt intimate, collected, and entirely their own. Four Oriental rugs. Six leather sofas. Custom mahogany food facades trimmed in navy fringe. A burgundy fluted bar topped in pink marble. A coordinating dance floor. Every element was thoughtfully layered to make a grand space feel warm, inviting, and effortlessly sophisticated.

We loved bringing this Miami wedding to life, where the tent reveal felt like a true reflection of the setting. Inspired by Miami’s coastal energy, the design layered vibrant yellow florals, sculptural palms, and lush greenery throughout the tent, creating an atmosphere that felt effortlessly beachy while still elevated and refined. Warm candlelight and glowing chandeliers brought the space to life as the evening unfolded, balancing the bold tropical elements with an elegant finish.
