A few days in Chicago gave me a fresh perspective, new inspiration, and exciting ideas for future designs.

Now I’m back in the atelier, doing what I love most—creating. Today I’m continuing work on a custom lace corset, carefully shaping every detail by hand.

Working with was a dream and watching this dress slowly come to life inside our atelier was something truly special. Every layer of lace, every fitting, every hand-finished detail was created right here in-house, step by step, with so much care behind it.

This is the part people don’t always see.
Not just the final dress… but the hundreds of quiet moments behind it. The sketching. The pattern work. The pinning during fittings. The hand sewing late at night. The conversations. The excitement. The trust.

At NiEl Bridal Atelier, we do more than bridal fittings. We design and create wedding gowns in-house, right here in Birmingham. From the first sketch and fabric selection to patternmaking, construction, hand embroidery, and final fitting, every gown is part of a personal couture process.

Some brides come to us for a completely custom wedding dress. Others bring a mother’s or grandmother’s gown and trust us to transform it into an entirely new modern design while preserving the emotion and story behind it.
