I had the absolute joy of photographing Zohar’s bat mitzvah recently — and while I hadn’t met her before, I actually used to nanny her older sisters back in the day! I simply adore this family, and seeing “my girls” all grown up truly filled my heart.
Zohar, the youngest, celebrated surrounded by family who came in from near and far. She had custom shirts made for her friends (so fun!), and there was a 13-minute slideshow her dad put together that was just overflowing with love. It was such a beautiful reflection of the kind, vibrant person she is.
The entire evening was a celebration of love — their love for her, for each other, and for all the little moments that brought them to this day. One of the most touching moments? The last song of the night, when all three sisters held each other and danced together. Cue the tears. 🥹
