Parade Day is nearly upon us! ☘️
Skip the toxic, staining, party store body paint. Crayon “face paint sticks” can be marketed as makeup but they are not regulated in the same way. They are oil based and leave residue on the skin which can lead to breakouts, staining, and allergic reactions.

Brushing Beauty Face Painting only provides NON-TOXIC, hypoallergenic and fully washable, PROFESSIONAL high-quality body paint!
I will be available for body painting this Saturday evening! Please reach out if you are interested in booking group sessions!

Face Paint Fun Fact!
It’s very common to hear Face Painters use the term “one stroke painting”. But.. what is it? What does it mean?
One stroke painting means loading a paintbrush with more than one color at a time to blend, shade and highlight all in one stroke of the brush. This method has been used for centuries in art- even dating back to early 1600s Japan. The term was made popular in 1995 by artist Donna Dewberry, who in collaboration in PLAID Crafts- perfected the technique and sold instructional books across the United States. Another example of the double loading technique is from Bob Ross, who would double load his brush during his show “The Joy of Painting”.
Today, this technique is used by many artists, including Face Painters. With just a few brush strokes, face painters are able to create complex designs in just a fraction of the time!
