Last week, we brought doggie treats with us to the Motel Mom's first night of ministry. Those treats gave us an opportunity to approach some folks that may not have been willing otherwise. They told us their dog's name, usually how old they were and what they were like. EVERY SINGLE ONE allowed us to pray with them.

The Furry Friends ministry isn't just about the dogs. It's about the soul holding the leash.

If you'd like to join our efforts to have dog treats on hand every time we minister at the hotel, please let me know.

Join us as Dr. Smart gives a word and introduces Living Free to our fellowship.

We're so excited and so grateful for his guidance, mentorship and friendship as we walk into this new season God has laid into our hands. Lord, helps us steward it well and glorify You in it!

This Saturday at 2pm we're going to enjoy some good old fashioned fellowship time over delicious food at The Depot at Union City.

But.... that's not all....

We're going to start a new tradition of Bible study "homework" and catch up on all that God's doing in and through the Depot.

On Saturday, we went on site to the hotel we ministered at last night. During that first prayer walk Saturday, God clearly spoke that he wanted a structure on site where people could come regularly to hear the gospel, experience power through prayer and come together and worship with other believers. Within only a couple days, God confirmed TWICE that He's going to bring tent....a tent where revival will start....a tent where souls will come to Him in total surrender...a tent where the tormented will find freedom... A tent where the praises of His children will echo through the highways and byways!

Last night was our first night on site to share the love and truth of Jesus with the residents at this motel. God moved in mighty power and His hand was so evident! The next few months will undoubtedly testify to His mercy and love for all people as we continue to watch this beautiful ministry unfold!

Join us in praying for this tent to be delivered, erected and stand on this site in Jesus name! We believe for it, but do you?

It has been so beautifully overwhelming to see the response of God's people wanting to help with the Motel Moms ministry! This evening we will be blessing many moms with these amazing cosmetic bags full of ladies hygiene products and gifts. As we put them in their hands, we will pray with them and speak as powerful truth over their life, family and situation.

But, tonight is our first night on site with the ministry, so will you join us in praying?

Agree with us that God's favor is going ahead of us to soften hearts, begin to break down strongholds and to keep the enemy at bay! Let's believe together that the loss will be saved, the hurting will be healed and His love will spread like fire through His Holy Spirit!

Yesterday, we gathered with dear brothers and sisters in christ, along with Grace Riot, to pray and walk the grounds of a motel we are beginning a ministry at this Tuesday evening. God move powerfully in ways that are hard to even put into words!

But we noticed something while we were there that we hadn't expected or prepared for. While there were many mothers with children, several disabled veterans and other displaced souls who were on the verge of homelessness, we noticed how many also had dogs. These weren't just pets or service animals, these were their family. These were their closest companions who had stood by them what everyone else had abandoned them and rejected them, perhaps even the church. These were little critters with a heart for their masters, many of which were very clearly protecting them, even with their life if necessary.

Some of these individuals, would not approach us and made it clear we were not welcome to approach them either. They were guarded. They were distant. But that furry critter was right next to their side.

I heard the Lord very clearly urging us that if we will show love to their dog, it will demonstrate love to them. He said "If you want an opportunity to get close to them, to hear their heart, to pray over them and to share the hope of the gospel, we needed to open the door through their furry friend first."

So, in addition to the many things the Lord is working on, we are going to also start a Furry Friends ministry. We're going to put together treat bags for their dogs, facilitate a dog food drive and possibly organize a mobile groomer to come and trim nails, etc.

If your heart is for Furry Friends and you feel the Lord tug at you through this opportunity, please let me know how you want to help! Together, we can show the love of Christ to people as a desperate for it as we are in such unique and beautiful ways as loving their Furry Friends alongside of them. Hand in hand. Heart to heart.🐾🐾
