When we bought our Rose 20 years ago, I didn't expect the home would come with the friendship of one of the most generous, caring, beautiful ladies I've ever known. Arlene Grein (Grein's Market) has brought so much encouragement and support to me from the very beginning of my journey in Biggs. Having owned our Rose (The Hastings House) for 10 years prior to our purchase, she's shared stories, history and items original to the home. I can look in every room and see Arlene reflected in a pitcher, photo or textile. Arlene's amazing family honored us by celebrating her 88th birthday in the garden yesterday. Incredible cakes made by her son, Guy, were served to family and friends. Happy 88th Arlene and thank you for being such a special friend. ❤️💕

Cuteness alert!! Check out the adorable decorations that decked out our Rose yesterday. Such a fun co-ed group. There were gifts galore and excitement in the air. Baby girl is due the end of June and her amazing family can't wait! Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a fun day!👶💞💕

We were delighted to have this beautiful group of ladies at The Rose on January 26th for the Beta Sigma Phi XI Sigma Omicorn annual tea. These girls are such a delight to work with! We look forward to having them back next year. ❤️🥰

Yesterday was a little soggy, but we still managed to have a wedding at The Rose! This is our 3rd wedding for this blended family. We are so honored to have them back! There was great food, plenty of drink and an amazing group of guests. They sang, danced and had a blast! It's supposed to be good luck if it rains on your wedding day, so this couple should have a fabulous life together. It's really special when clients become friends and like family. 💕💕💕

This morning we had the pleasure of having Twin Cities Tree Service come out bright and early to clean up our beautiful oak trees. The group arrived early to beat the heat and got busy at 8:00 AM. By 9:20, they had completed the job, cleaned up and were on their way. Our trees look beautiful!! Each member of the crew was polite, focused and professional. What I love most about doing weddings at our Rose, is meeting so many incredible people! Last Saturday this amazing couple said their "I Do's" under the shade of our grand oak tree, before an audience of friends and family. Everyone was so friendly and truly excited for the couple!
