Our happy place is exploring the outdoors together with our dog, Remus. As kids both of our families spent free time in nature. Karissa grew up traveling with her family to the mountains and splashing around in lakes. Mike’s spent summers chasing fireflies and making tree forts with his siblings. Those cozy memories are some of our happiest. All of those years of falling in love with the outdoors are so much a part of who we are today. Our hearts are most full while hiking, camping, road tripping or sitting around a campfire with the people we love.
Karissa is a total space nerd and when there’s a clear night you will probably find her nestled in the rocks with her camera and tripod as she catches the milky way through her lens. Mike loves everything relating to Chicago sports and he more than anything loves sitting outside with a cold beverage in hand watching a game with his friends and family. We’re quality over quantity kind of folk and we hold that close to our hearts with everything we do. We live in a small neighborhood near the mountains in LA and we spend much of our free time exploring the public lands around us. We feel like the luckiest people in the world everytime we think about the fact that we get to work in the places we love with people we love creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Once the rings have been exchanged and you're officially partners for life, you receive an online album, USB and access to your personalized online print shop so that you can take your beautifully documented images and relive each meaningful and incredible moment again and again
How do we respect our couple’s safety and the health of our public lands?
Being lucky enough to work in the outdoors means we have a huge responsibility to protect and give back to our public lands and we hold this very near to our hearts.
We work with our couples to educate everyone one on safety-first practices, leave no trace principles and in the age of COVID-19, social distancing guidelines and public health regulations. Keeping everyone and everywhere safe, healthy and protected is our top priority.
We donate a percentage of our proceeds each year back to protecting public lands.
