On the way back from the retreat, we were driving by some gorgeous steeples and jumped on the chance to stop into Mother of God church in Covington, KY. This is a gorgeous renaissance style church with so much history! Our tour guide showed us marks on the tile floor where part of the main dome collapsed during a fire caused by tornado damage fifty years ago. You would be hard pressed to find a flaw in this stunning church now though. It’s always a pleasure and a privilege to spend time in these stunning sacred spaces!
