I will be closing this page. I rarely officiate weddings anymore. I will continue to provide them for family and close friends, but I will not be traveling out of the area anymore.

Started my morning with meditation! I am learning to like to meditate. I definitely like how it makes me feel when I am finished. My days that I meditate seem to go alot better! Here is the positive affirmation meditation I listened to this morning. It tells us of all the positive things we are....or at least are striving to be.

When you live in Iowa, you know what Fool’s Spring has tricked you into thinking in the past. But it is sure hard to ignore the energy that sunshine brings to the world around us, after a long and cold winter!

For now, we will soak in the sunshine and enjoy the 60 degree days coming after the weekend even if it may be a TRICK!

Happy Friday! I would LOVE to know your plans for the weekend ahead!! Plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and opening the windows is in my future!

Walking through life with your partner by your side is such a gift. Being able to lean into each other during tough seasons is one of the biggest gifts of all!

I have learned that there are definite highs and lows throughout seasons of relationships, but communication is the key to making it through. Saying the vulnerable thing and asking for your partner's support, in whatever way you need, feels scary and overwhelming. But trust me, opening up and asking for what you need will release a huge weight from your shoulders!

Communication. Communication. Communication. Stick to it and you won't go wrong! And always going back to LOVE and your promise to one another! It seems cliche, but boy is it true.

Friday Intro Time! I’m Nancy. I have been a mental health professional for 20+ years working with many populations. I specialize in working with adults and couples to help them find their journey to a happier, thus healthier life! I love working with couples through premarital counseling, officiating weddings and ongoing marriage counseling support.

I am an Enneagram 9 and am also an empath. Any other empaths out there? It is so easy for me to put myself in the shoes of others and I FEEL everything they are feeling.
