Not exactly what I expected to learn when I started working in bridal.

Coming from a corporate background, I knew absolutely nothing about wedding dress shopping. I assumed finding the perfect gown was all that mattered. What I quickly discovered was that some of the biggest factors in your experience have nothing to do with the dress itself.

From bridal sizing shock to the surprising impact of who you bring to your appointment, there were several things I wish someone had told me before I stepped into the bridal world.

So I wrote about it.
