As you all know Willow & Rose Designs took a little vacation this week! ☀️🌴

We headed to Cancun, Mexico for a week filled with sunshine, family time, and so many memories with our kids and our Shaw family. ❤️

The trip was even more special because we also celebrated Keegan and Gavin graduating high school, such an exciting milestone for them both. 🎓

So thankful for the laughs, the quality time, and the chance to recharge with some of my favorite people. Now it’s back to flowers and creating beautiful things for all of you! 💐

My favorite flowers to create this graduation season were for my nephews’ graduation reception. 🎓💐

These two have helped me behind the scenes more than once, whether it was delivering flowers to the school or hauling boxes into my design area. It’s been special getting to watch them grow into hardworking young men, and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for them.

A special thank you to Hazel Dell Baptist Church for allowing me to set up a flower buffet for Mother’s Day! 💐

It was such a joy to be a small part of celebrating all the wonderful moms. Thank you for supporting local and allowing me to share some beautiful blooms with your church family. 🌸

These two cuties were also big helpers yesterday bringing in all the flowers! 💐🩷 I sure appreciated the extra helping hands and the smiles that came with them.

I didn’t get any photos of all the florals I had the pleasure of creating for some amazing moms this Mother’s Day, and honestly, it was quite the adventure getting them finished and delivered.

I spent the week at a conference in San Diego, and a huge shoutout goes to my husband for holding everything down while I was gone — picking up flowers from my wholesaler, getting buckets ready, and helping make sure I could hit the ground running when I got home Friday afternoon.

But sometimes even the best plans don’t go the way you expect. My day started at 4:30 a.m. heading to the airport for a 6:30 flight, and not long after I got settled into my seat, I realized the day was about to take a turn. The airline forgot to fuel the plane, which caused me to miss my connecting flight and scramble all day trying to get back home.

I finally made it home late last night and immediately started making Mother’s Day bouquets. Then it was up early this morning to gather everything, load up, and head out for deliveries. Somewhere in all the chaos and exhaustion, I completely forgot to take photos.

But I still wanted to say thank you to everyone who trusted me to create flowers to celebrate your moms. It truly means so much to me, and I always love getting to play a small part in making your loved ones feel special. 💐 Happy Mother’s Day!!!

I can’t wait to see the beautiful bouquets the teachers create! I know they’ll be just as special as the people making them.
