🌸 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🌸

This month is especially close to my heart. My mom, JoAnna, passed away from breast cancer many years ago. She is also the inspiration behind the name Willow & Rose Designs. She loved willow trees and yellow roses, so both have become a beautiful reminder of her and the strength and grace she carried.

I love sharing flowers and the joy they bring, but this month I also want to share a simple reminder: please take care of yourself and get checked. Encourage the women you love to do the same. Early detection can save lives. 💗

I’ve never actually met this beautiful bride, but we planned her wedding flowers completely through email. 💕 She had a vision for her bouquet, the head table arrangement and boutonnieres, and I was honored to bring that vision to life.

One thing I always tell my brides: you don’t have to have a lot of flowers to make an impact. You just need the right pieces in the right places. A vision that fits your style. 🌸

A beautiful bouquet, a special centerpiece and those little details can make a big statement without covering every surface in flowers.

As a former pageant girl myself, I know firsthand how special these events can be. Pageants are about so much more than a crown. They give girls opportunities to grow in confidence, make memories, build friendships and learn skills they can carry with them for years to come.

The Miss Frontier Days Pageant will be held on Sunday, September 20th from 2–5 PM at the Tecumseh Alumni Building as part of our 50th Anniversary Frontier Days Celebration.

This special tradition gives young ladies the opportunity to shine, build confidence, celebrate community pride, and be part of a milestone year for Frontier Days.

We invite families, friends, and the community to come cheer on our contestants as they take the stage and represent the heart of Tecumseh.
