Day Two: Big Faces & Big Critters! 🇺🇸🦬
We kicked off the day at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, where the kids were shook (in the best way) learning how those massive faces were carved. Major respect to the OG rock carvers — those guys had more patience than Ross waiting for Rachel to realize they were on a break.

After that history flex, we cruised over to Custer State Park, and holy cow (or should I say holy buffalo?!), we saw our first buffalo, prairie dogs, and even some deer living their best Disney movie life.

Day One… Part TWO: Dino-mite Adventures! 🦖✨
After getting wild with the reptiles, we leveled up to prehistoric party mode at Dinosaur Park. The kids turned into full-on dino tamers — climbing, roaring, and striking more poses than a Top Model finale.

Let’s just say, these dinos weren’t ready for our mini photo shoot takeover. 📸💥

Who knew South Dakota would have us living out our Jurassic Park dreams (without the whole running-for-your-life part, thank goodness)?

Day One: South Dakota Shenanigans!
We kicked off our vacay like total explorers and hit up Reptile Gardens. 🦎🐍 From snakes that looked like they moonlight as rockstars to gators chillin’ like they’re on spring break, it was WILD.
Seriously, it felt like we stepped into a live-action Jurassic Park (minus the running and screaming — thankfully).

Stay tuned for more adventures — who knows what we'll find next? Maybe a T-Rex doing the Macarena.

Cue the awwws because Will & Jess’s engagement session was PURE JOY. 💫 These two couldn’t stop laughing—and honestly, neither could I! Happy Hump Day! I hope you're all having a great week and staying hydrated. This Friday evening I have the pleasure of being back at Grappa Growlers from 5-8 pm. It is an incredibly fun room to play in with great people behind the counter, and I would love to see you there.

I will also be taking part in VENUE on Main's Singer-Songwriter drop-in tomorrow night at 7 pm. If you love live, original music, there is nowhere better in the area.
