Weather isn't always the best business partner.
This season we have had extreme cold to extreme, unseasonably hot weather which affected some crops. (Prayers to all the farmers that had 100% loss in cherries, peaches & apples)
The anemone harvest wasn't what I was hoping for, and I'm holding out another week to see if the ranunculus decide to bloom or just went dormant despite my efforts in trying to keep the soil cool.
BUT...tis gardening!! And we did have enough to fulfill the orders needed, which I'm thankful for!
There are always obstacles, but I've learned lots throughout the years, one being how to pivot and be flexible. Also, stress less and enjoy what is blooming!
Even though I looked forward to arm fulls of ranunculus, it'll be okay! Flowers will bloom and we will hope for better conditions next season!
