The time has come.
I’ve been out of the entertainment game for a while, since a certain infection, but it’s time to come out of retirement. Who needs a pirate?
I’m once again a pirate for hire and minister, because clearly, the world was missing a swashbuckling preacher.
Reach out, tourist season is approaching, and the time is ripe for pirate weddings, and fun photo opportunities!

🌊 Ocean Renaissance was an annual event & nonprofit fundraiser, hosted at the Carousel Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland! Five seasons of Merchants, Music, Magic & Mayhem! All in an effort to support original artists and charities for Ocean Conservation!🌊

A huge thank you to the powers that be for oceans renaissance. You guys are too wonderful for words!
I’m excited to watch you grow, and evolve, and I’m happy to share the experience and love.

🌊Ocean Renaissance for this year is finally over, and I think it’s fair to say that everyone had an absolute blast! As always, thanks so much to all of our vendors, performers, our patrons, and the Carousel Oceanfront Hotel for being the perfect home for our event! We hope to see everyone return again!🌊

Just because the event is over for this year doesn’t mean that our efforts will be slowing down! In the short term, we’re currently counting our money and figuring out the amount we’ll be donating to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the Ocean Conservancy. We’re also going to post a satisfaction survey to see how people felt about this year’s event in hopes to improve next time! Long term plans include:

🐳-Various website renovations
🦀-A YouTube channel for archival and promotional videos
🌺-More content involving Rosecat Concord’s world, characters & storylines

How do I compress three days of nonstop enjoyment into one post? It’s hard to say how much of a good time I had at the Ocean Renaissance event this year. As a second year goes, with a change of venues, a pirate of habit has to change things up, go new routes, sail different seas. Patches always draws a crowd, and always seems to garner his fair share of attention, but seeing people (and other fae folk) smile is what keeps me at this. Here’s to my strange and eventful 12 years of pirating, and maybe another hundred?
A huge thanks to all the wonderful humans I was able to share some magic with, and here’s to meeting again in 2024!

Ocean City MD Comic Con was a blast, made a lot of friends, got a lot of ideas for future projects, and had so much fun as always.
Thank you to the crew working and running the event for your continued service, I’ll be seeing you next year.. or sooner since a lot of us are local.

An easy path to making new puppets was never an option. As opposed to surprising everyone with my next critter creation, I’ll be making regular updates right here on this. This is the foundation of a monkey skull, thankfully this is the best time of the year to get plastic skulls, god bless Spirit Halloween.
Hopefully Karl the drunken circus monkey should be assembled and downing grog by 2023 with the usual menagerie of pirate companions I surround myself with.

So we landed In port at the oceans renaissance festival last weekend. Patches and Sylvia had an absolute blast! Loads to work on for next year, but we made many new friends, saw a bunch of old friends, and made some memories along the way!
More updates to come as we pave towards 2023, and our hopeful return to regular entertainment opportunities!
