Tonight our students who took Acro Arts Exams received their certificates and/or medals of distinction. Thank you so much Miss Leigh, for hosting this tonight and making the dancers feel special.

We are so lucky to have Miss Leigh, an Acro Arts certified instructor. Because of her and her certification, our students have the opportunity each year to take an Acro Arts Exam. It is a prestigious exam with incredibly qualified examiners judging the dancers. For those dancers who are serious about their continued training, the Acro Arts Exam is something that is great to build a resumé and distinguish yourself from other dancers.

A special congrats to Claire, Kaylee, and Ella for receiving a medal in their Primary Level Exam and Mia for receiving a medal in her Level 3 Exam. 🏅

Ava just finished her first day of the Rock School Summer Online Intensive. We’re so proud of her, and all of our students, for their continued desire to work hard and make accomplishments during these crazy summer months!!

"Dance started out as a hobby that my parents put me in, mostly because my older sisters were involved in it. Over the years, it became more than just a hobby, it became my passion. It’s how to discipline, how to have determination, and how to work hard for the things I wanted to achieve. Working towards better technique, learning new skills, learning more advanced choreography, winning competitions, etc. It taught me how to be vulnerable with my feelings and emotions and allowed me to release those emotions on stage. Dance has brought so many important people into my life. Lifelong friends, teachers, mentors. And by being a part of the dance community, I learned how to network and look for other opportunities to pursue. Dance has taught me the importance of getting out of my comfort zone. Stepping out of my comfort zone taught me how to grow as both a person and a dancer. Dance has given me an appreciation for art. Something that started as a hobby quickly became a career path for me. It now defines a big part of who I am as a person. I went from being a shy young girl to being a young woman who calls herself a dancer. I would feel incomplete without it. So just as much as I am a daughter, a sister, a friend, I’m also a dancer."

Attention families! Since we would have been starting our summer break next week, we will be taking the next 2 weeks off from the zoom classes. Keep your eye out on announcements that we will post on the private CBDA page for summer zoom classes.

We sincerely hope that we will be allowed to open our doors for summer classes at some point!.

If you need to pick up your recital costumes (as long as your balance is paid in full), we will be at the studio handing them out on Tuesday June 16th from 5:00-7:00 PM. Please keep these costumes in good condition in hopes that we’ll be able to have a simple showcase this summer 🙏

Join us in wishing a huge congratulations to Jacquelin on her high school graduation! She officially received her diploma on Tuesday. Our words can’t even begin to express how proud we are of Jacquelin. She has been a dancer at CBDA her entire career so far. She has become a true artist and we know that her future in the arts is so very bright.
We will always be your number one fan, Jacquelin. We can’t wait to watch you soar 🎓🩰 🌟 ❤️
