How do you sum up a lifetime of hopes and dreams in one post? How do you express the perfection of your day in just a few short words? I don’t think I’ll ever be able to. The perfect day does exist — and Steven and I were given that yesterday at our wedding 🤍
Stay with me friends — this is going to be a long post lol. However, I wanted to give all my vendors the shout-outs they deserve. I’ve had sooo many compliments on all of them and want to give credit where credit is due!

To Walt and Rachel from the farm, we could not have asked for a more beautiful venue. The property is absolutely stunning. You have put a lot of thoughtful planning into the venue, and it shows in the small accents throughout the venue, bridal barn, and cilo’s.
To Erinn Wasiniak with Simply Yours,LLC, girl…. You knocked the decor out of the ballpark. The backdrop, the flowers, the table centerpieces, the signs, the hours of planning and bringing ideas to the table Mom and I would have never thought of, all of it. You took all of that stress off of Mom and I, and we are grateful for every bit of help you helped us with. Thank you 💛🌻
Creative Cuisine — Y’ALL ABSOLUTELY KILLED THAT MEAL!!!!!!!!!!! The house-made bruschetta 👌🏼👌🏼the hand rolled meatballs, the veggies, the Parmesan chicken 🤌🏼🤌🏼 the beef sirloin, for the love of God the ALFREDO 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, the baked potato bar with all the fixings, the take on green beans…. There is not one single thing I have a complaint about with that food. It’s not hard to figure out why you guys don’t have to advertise, because word of mouth does it for you 110%. To my Uncle Neil Fannin, I cannot thank you enough for being the reason we found this catering company. From the bottom of my heart, THANK 👏🏼 YOU 👏🏼 for everything you did to help make these meals happen!! TOP NOTCH is an understatement!!
Cupcakes & Cookies — Ashley Majestic …. lady, you never fail to amaze me at how wonderful you are for making such GREAT DESSERTS!!!! Ash made strawberry crunch, cannoli, tiramisu, Reese’s, banana split, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and pistachio cupcakes. The cookies were also all done by hand. I cannot tell you just how many compliments we have received about your work. They must have been amazing because Steven and I didn’t get a single one, nor a single cookie lmao 🤣🤣 but that’s ok! I’m glad everyone enjoyed them!! As for our cake — one of the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had in my life. I am so, so grateful to have you as part of our catering for our big day! Thank you SO MUCH for all the time you put into making everything!
Pastry items — Baker on the Square nails it again! I came to their place looking for filler items to add variety, and they absolutely nailed it. Mini cinnamon rolls, orange sweet rolls, almond bear claws, apple cinnamon turnovers, and lemon blueberry twists. You can just tell when something is made from scratch, because they are so much better than anywhere else! Thank you for your services! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Photography — Paige, my sweet girl. What a gift it has been to get to know you, watch you grow your little family and GLOW while doing it, and have you with us on our biggest day. You can just tell you love what you do. Because it just shows in your photos. Your thoughtful process and creative ideas create priceless experiences and memories we can look back on for decades to come. I am so thankful and grateful I found you online — I would not have wanted anyone else to capture our perfect day 🤍, and Jess, you were such a sweetheart to meet!! I’m so glad I got to meet you and have you help us out as well! Thank you BOTH for getting the most perfect photos for us. I truly cannot WAIT to see the rest 💛🌻
Videography — Amy, you are just an angel! And my GOSH are you good at what you do!! I could never keep up with you and how much you are on the go doing your job. Just WOW! You have been such a pleasure to work with and I am so thankful I found you online to help capture our day. You have been such a blessing 🤍💛🌻 I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for the teaser video in another day or 2!!
DJ services — I found SnagADj on a whim one day, on a talk of Norwalk post 🤣, and liked what I saw of his light displays and sound equipment, so I reached out to him. Little did I know he used to live over towards Greenwich, knew our dear friend John Saunders, and had such a fun, outgoing personality. He made the ceremony perfect — with only 30 minutes to hook up my recording of RJ and myself for Steven before I walked down the aisle. He’s done this for decades, and some major events, and it shows. Bryan, I was meant to find you. You have not once felt like a stranger since booking you, and I’m so thankful you worked so well with all of our guest requests. You were so great to work with — thank you so much for staying extra late tonight!!
Make up — Gabby, I am SO THANKFUL I got to have you!! It’s been TOO long since I got to see you, and I am so grateful you traveled to us all. You are so wonderful!! Thank you for everything babes! 🤍
*Also want to give a shout out to the best neighbor ever — Carol Boyer Perkins for doing our rehearsal dinner on Friday! She also surprised us with some delicious tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella ball skewers! Those were a HUGE hit to go along with the rigatoni and meatballs, and crockpot of chicken alfredo 🤍🤍 you are the BEST!! Thank you SO MUCH for doing that for us. I am so grateful for you!!

*And last but certainly not least, my Daddy Smiley and Buck for making us our 400 Jell-O shots for the evening! Every, single one of them were consumed and they were DELICIOUS!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 so, so thankful for you guys — thank you a million times over for doing that for us!
Bless your heart if y’all are still with me 🤣🤣 I just have so much gratitude for our day because it was just perfect. PERFECT. Things flowed well, zero drama, perfect weather, you name it. It was just an absolute dream come true. Every girl dreams of her wedding at some point in her life and what it will look like. Yesterday was more than I could have ever asked for. My heart is just so full. I’m still on cloud 9 thinking of how beautiful the entire day was, and how genuinely happy I am that I finally got to marry my person, my best friend, and my reason for so many things.
The groomsmen — Stephen Parker, Greg Johnson and Nate Luzader… what a fun group of guys to celebrate with!! You all hold a special place in Steven’s heart, and I am so grateful for the brotherhood he has with each one of you. Thank you so much for everything you guys did for both of us. Truly. Could not have done the day without you all 🫶🏼🫶🏼 hope the drink glasses and gifts were awesome!
To my girls Dar Parker Pangio, Sarah Oney, and Kandi Jones…. I could not have made it through the day without you all. Each one of you holds such a special place in my heart. I cannot put into words just how much you all mean to me. And how grateful I am for the sisterhood I have with each one of you. I have been blessed with the most beautiful and wonderful women in my life. I love you all forever — thank you for everything yesterday. 🤍💛🌻
To every single one of our guests — wow. Just wow. The way our friends and family showed up for us.. just left me in awe. I truly hope you all enjoyed the night as much as we did. Because I don’t know how life gets any better than what we got to experience all day and night yesterday 🤍💛🌻
To my mama. Ellen Fannin — You deserve the damn world mom. I am so thankful to God that he gave you to me. I’m forever honored to be Ray & Ellen’s daughter. You helped make a lifetime dream come true, and I’ll never take that for granted. That elegant and beautiful day was because you helped us so much. I know yesterday was hard for you, even if you don’t talk about it out loud to me. I didn’t just have to be married without daddy here. You had to watch me get married without the person you fell in love with at 13 and married. No one should ever have to know how that feels. Yet you handle yourself with class and grace daily anyway. And you thank the Lord for the blessings during the burdens. If I am half the wife to my Steven that you were to dad, I think I’ll be doing alright. Thank you for always being in my corner through all steps of life and for being the example of what a wife should be. I love you more than you’ll ever know 🤍💛🌻
Lastly, to my groom — Steven Jay, you have never looked so damn good than when I saw you looking at me at the end of the aisle yesterday. When you’re used to seeing work pants, diesel-covered T-shirts, and oiled-up work boots, it’s so nice to see you cleaned up and looking PERFECT yesterday. You are the sweetest soul, my favorite hand to hold, and now my HUSBAND. My Lord, does that feel so good to finally say. We did it, baby — we’re finally married, and I couldn’t be happier if I tried 🤍💛🌻
Praise and glory be to GOD for everything we have been given. Because He gave us the most perfect day, gave me the most wonderful groom, and the most amazing friends and family a girl could ask for. My cup is overflowing with joy. Thank you, Lord, for every detail of this wedding day. May we always keep You within our marriage, and always remember to honor the covenant we have been blessed with through You. Amen. 🙏🏼
