“Hold me.” —a dahlia 🌸✨

Since Charles’ dad gave him a few potted tubers 🌱back in 2017, we’ve grown a little corner of our flower garden into a field.

Our kids have literally grown up playing in these blooms ⏳🥹

So when we hand you one, it’s more than a flower—it’s loaded with memories and years of joy 🥰

We can’t wait to put a few blooms into your hand this dahlia season ✌️🤗💛

Peony season was a vibe 🤩 The weather? The news? A whole different vibe 🌦️🥴

EMOTIONS BLOOMED INTO BEAUTY ✨

Still replaying moments from last week’s “Arrange with Passion” workshop in my mind. Four incredible women. Two hours of beautiful unhurried moments. Connection. One powerful revelation: our emotions deserve to be accepted with compassion, not judged.

Ever catch yourself thinking, “I shouldn’t feel this way”? 🤔

What if I told you those uncomfortable emotions are actually just peptides released by your brain creating physical sensations in your body? Emotions are physical responses to our thoughts. We just can’t see them—even the really big ones‼️

Giving our emotions an external physical form helps us see them without judgment.

What we discovered together:

🌻 Emotions aren’t “good” or “bad”—they’re information

🌻 Self-compassion opens doors self-criticism keeps locked

🌻 Getting curious about feelings (instead of avoiding them) reveals hidden wisdom

🌻 When we give emotions external form through flowers, we can literally SEE what’s happening inside

In the Army, you’re not supposed to walk “At ease”, but I know a chap 😉 who just can’t help himself while he’s carrying a bucket of flowers to his pals 💛🖤 this week on the 13th anniversary of getting his noodle rocked 💥 in Afghanistan.

Becoming a flower farmer might seem like a major plot twist for a combat veteran 🪖🪂💐 but cultivating beauty for you is such a tremendous joy for this 👉👨‍🌾 fella and a wonderful part of his journey!!! 💜
