Heading to a wedding today so that’s got me thinking about flowers and how just a few floral elements can go a long way in a ceremony ✨
How gorgeous is this couple? Grace and Seyi were married last August. I adore the photos that took of their sweet wedding in downtown Oakland. Purple was their color and I loved how Grace’s bouquet with all the purple shades and hints of pinks turned out. It was so fun to also try my hand at tied purple aisle flowers for the first time. I am lucky that this sweet side gig continues to give me opportunities to learn how to make new things for people’s special moments! 💜

Flowers for Elliott’s Bar Mitzvah! It was so delightful to make these arrangements in the quiet of my garage during Friday night’s rainstorm. Loved using all the lush greenery and soft blues, purples, and a hint of pink/yellow. And big bonus for me, I repurposed some of the gold compotes used for my wedding in 2019 that have been waiting for a moment to shine again!

Last morning at Brannan & Sixth Street for me! The SF flower market is moving to a new location in Potrero Hill at the end of the year. I am grateful that I have been able to dip into the early morning magic vibes that happen at the market from time to time over the last eleven years of It is a great space (SFFM is over 100 years old and has been at this location for more than 50 years) and an even better community of people. Hopeful the good vibes will continue in the new digs 💛
