MOTHERHOOD- a word that I respect and appreciate more and more as the years go by. I was taught so many things by my beautiful mother, I wish I could have walked this journey of being a mom myself with her by my side but God has showed me that he wants to be the One I trust and depend on more every day.
So thankful for the privilege of being the mom to two precious souls that I love something fierce, so thankful for the privilege of having an awesome mom that sacrificed it all for me and my siblings growing up.

A little extra note: I don’t get to talk much about my mom because not very many knew her so i wanted to take the opportunity to write something I love about her so I chose this pic of me and my mom this Mother’s Day because every time I see it I’m reminded of how much my mom taught me by example from a very young age…she had just been sent back home from the hospital after having some contractions thinking my little brother was ready to come but they said no, you are not ready, so she went to the grocery store, you know, there is no time to waste and bought what she needed to make dinner and whatever else for the next day even if she was uncomfortable and in pain, she was so strong and always kept going and moving forward no matter what, she resembled resiliency to me by example and every single day, she loved God, loved us so well and others. I miss her kind and humble heart. Just a little extra info on the story behind the pic, if you wanted to know 😉
