This facility is available from April through November for a rental fee of just $100/day (Sunday - Thursday) or $300/day (Friday & Saturday). ft., a fire pit, and of course, Lake Hamilton. Additional Uses:
The fire pit in front of the building is available at no cost for those interested in a nice evening by the fire. This is only available at times when there is no event taking plac
e though. The old campsites are going to be renovated soon, and camping will be another option. History:
Twin Oaks Lodge was a Civilian Conservation Corps project, taken on by the local 698th. The project on the Lake
Hamilton property was started late into the Great Depression and came to close in 1938. This building is of special
historical significance, as it was constructed from sandstone curbs that were previously removed from Benton's dirt
streets. Prior to paving the city with brick in the early 1900’s, the curbs had been removed and stored until they found
use in this project.
