1000 tulips are now planted and waiting for Spring! I'm impatiently waiting as well. Winter has never been my season of choice. I love the holidays, but then I'm over all things cold, wet or white. Though I hate the cold weather, some of my most treasured blooms love and need a cold Winter to thrive and shine! So, for you, my Tulips, Ranunculus, Anemone, Peonies, Campanula and Hellebores... I will try to embrace it. Try is all I can promise.

The bittersweet colors of Fall. So beautiful, yet also the beginning whispers of Winter to come in the garden. I both love and dread it every year. Does anyone out there feel the same? Over here already dreaming of Spring!😁

Rudbeckia seeds are being sown today! If you've never grown these beauties, you are missing out! They are beautiful in arrangements and will reward you with more blooms when cut! Win/Win! If you don't want to start them from seed, many varieties are available at your local nursery. Fall is a great time to plant them to enjoy years of beautiful blooms to come!

Rudbeckia, commonly called Black-eyed Susan, is a classic perennial flower that shows off bright yellow, gold, or bronze flowers with striking dark brown centers. Black-eyed Susan is an easy-to-grow North American wildflower that's excellent for attracting butterflies, bees, and other pollinating insects. (Credit to my friend Wikipedia)

Today I'm sowing Digitalas, commonly called Foxglove, for Spring 2026 blooms. This is a new one for me. 😬 Wikipedia describes Digitalis as follows:
The name *Digitalis means "finger-like" and refers to the flower's shape. Native to Europe, Western Asia, and northwestern Africa, gardeners in the U.S. also widely plant them as ornamentals. The flowers have wide leaves, serrated edges, tall spikes, and long, bell-shaped purple flowers.

I describe them as simply stunning! Wish me luck! Hoping for stunning spikes in white, pink and peach!
