FW Shows and Broken Goblet Brewing present Galactic Empire and Bit Brigade for a night of Star Wars and Mega Man X fun and excitement!

Galactic Empire is the galaxy’s foremost instrumental Star Wars cosplay heavy metal John Williams tribute band. Their first two music videos were viral hits, gaining over 24 million Youtube views with national press coverage including Huffington Post, Guitar World, Entertainment Weekly, and MSNBC, along with a live TV performance on E! Entertainment during their coverage of the 2016 Academy Awards. The band went on to tour extensively, headlining multiple national and overseas tours, including Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia, along with appearances at major festivals, comic cons, sporting events, and supporting arena acts Ozzy Osbourne and BABYMETAL.

Bit Brigade is the premier SNES/NES tribute band known for their unusual format during live performances, which involves band member Noah McCarthy performing a NES video game speedrun on stage. The band performs the soundtrack of that game live as an accompaniment, matching McCarthy's gameplay. Bandcamp described the group as "The biggest speedrunners in rock", while The Pitch described them as "One of the biggest names in video game soundtrack cover bands".

Following a string of highly anticipated local appearances, C8H18 (Octane) return to Broken Goblet for a night of their signature hard and alternative rock. With new music just on the horizon, the Philadelphia five-piece outfit has brought a renewed sense of purpose and energy that has reconnected them with their loyal followers.

Without a doubt, one of the most talked about rock bands to emerge from the Philadelphia area in the past two decades, C8H18 (Octane) earned a name for themselves playing no-frills, no-nonsense, rock 'n roll with a sound that was reminiscent of the metal acts of yesteryear. Forming in the 2000 with Brian Bortnick on vocals, Brian Quinn and Greg Tripp on guitar, Joe Berndt on bass, and Bob Pirylis on drums, the band headlined sold out shows at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia and was voted number one Unsigned Band in a Y-100 (WPLY) Listeners' Poll in 2004 and 2005. They won Best Original Band and Best Original CD in 2003 and 2004 at the Philadelphia Music Awards with the independently released album, When All is Said and Done and the radio hit, "I For One" garnered heavy support and airplay on 94.1 WYSP FM further cementing the band as a local tour-de-force. With recent 'reunion' performances the band has brought their high energy live show to the Philly area at select dates like 2025 MMRBQ. FW Shows & Broken Goblet Brewing present the Conquerors of Armageddon 25th Anniversary Tour with Krisiun, Abysmal Dawn, Pyrexia & GORGATRON.

Krisiun was formed in 1990, by three brothers, vocalist/bassist Alex Camargo, guitarist Moyses Kolesne and drummer Max Kolesne. They have toured extensively through North America, South America and Europe and are heavily influenced by the debut albums of S***m, Kreator, Morbid Angel and Slayer. Their violent lyrics and blazing musical tempo make them one of the most eminent extreme death metal bands in the world. The band is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Conquerors of Armageddon, their third album released in 2000 and their first with Century Media; nine blistering tracks of Morbid Angel-influenced death metal that overflows with blasting drumbeats, guttural guitar/bass riffs, growled-out vocals, and completely over-the-top guitar solos.

Abysmal Dawn is a death metal band formed in Los Angeles in 2003, known for their intricate compositions and dark, atmospheric sound. The group, which has undergone various lineup changes over the years, gained recognition with albums like From Ashes (2006), Leveling the Plane of Existence (2011), and Obsolescence (2017), showcasing a blend of technical prowess and melodic elements. With a strong emphasis on thematic depth and a commitment to the genre, Abysmal Dawn has carved a niche for itself within the metal community, appealing to fans of both brutal and melodic styles.

Formed in 1990 on Long Island, New York, Pyrexia is known for their aggressive sound and complex arrangements that blend elements of grindcore and brutal death metal. Their lyrical themes often explore dark and visceral subject matter, reflecting a raw intensity that resonates with fans. Over the years, Pyrexia has released several albums and gained a loyal following, becoming a notable part of the East Coast metal scene.

Emerging from the icy depths of Fargo, North Dakota, in the late 1990s, Gorgatron is known for . Combining elements of death metal and grindcore while often incorporating socially and politically charged lyrics, the band is known for their aggressive sound and intricate compositions. Over the years, Gorgatron has built a reputation for their high-energy live performances and distinctive, brutal style, contributing significantly to the metal landscape.

Influential American punk rock outfit Black Flag formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California and is known for their raw, aggressive sound and intense live performances. They helped define the American punk scene alongside other notable bands in the late 70s and early 80s. The group's lineup has shifted frequently, with guitarist Greg Ginn as the central figure as a mainstay through. Their albums, such as Damaged, are celebrated for their emotional intensity and socio-political commentary. Black Flag's DIY ethos and relentless pursuit of artistic freedom have left a lasting impact on punk rock and alternative music scenes.

Formed in 1981 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, by frontman Joe King, The Qu**rs are an American punk rock staple known for their catchy, melodic sound and irreverent lyrics. They emerged from the underground punk scene and became associated with, and to many have defined the pop-punk sound heavily influenced by The Ramones. The band's early work, especially albums like Love Songs for the Re****ed (1993), showcased their playful yet often provocative take on topics such as love, sexuality, and suburban life. Over the years, The Qu**rs have experienced various lineup changes, but King has remained a steadfast member, with the band continuing to record and tour, garnering a dedicated fan base. Their irrepressible spirit and punk ethos have solidified them as influential and essential punk icons.

Six Feet Under formed in 1993 in Tampa, Florida, by Chris Barnes, the former frontman of Cannibal Co**se and gained a quick following for their heavy, groove-laden sound and darkly themed lyrics, quickly becoming a significant presence in the underground metal scene. The band's debut album, Haunted, released in 1995, cemented their reputation with its brutal riffs and aggressive musicianship. Over the years, Six Feet Under has undergone several lineup changes, with Barnes remaining the constant driving force and vocalist. The band has released numerous albums, exploring various aspects of death metal while occasionally incorporating other genres, like hardcore and doom. Despite facing criticism and lineup instability, Six Feet Under has maintained a dedicated fan base and continues to tour, contributing to the evolution of the death metal genre. 2025 sees the band celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the release of Haunted on the Midnight in Hell Tour, one of the most talked about metal tours of the year.

Formed in 1986, Exhorder’s journey has proven exciting, yet tumultuous. After a twenty-seven-year absence following their final Roadrunner Records release in 1992, Exhorder re-entered the game with an album considered by many to be a contender for the "Best Comeback Album" category. The band released Mourn the Southern Skies in October of 2019 through Nuclear Blast Records. Fraught with euphoric peaks and crippling valleys throughout its existence, lineup changes, and the 2020-2021 pandemic, Exhorder has since clawed back through the muck to prepare yet another album to add to the discography. In the spring of 2024, Exhorder released their fourth full-length recording, Defectum Omnium, the Latin phrase for "The Failure of All". Singer Kyle Thomas wryly explains that the album title is representative of the current state of affairs that the world is in. "The world is a dumpster fire, and we are all complicit.", he explains. "People have been talking about, ‘...viruses killing us off, blah-blah, blah...', when in actuality we are the virus to the Earth. Mother Nature is simply trying to shake off the fleas, and her ‘viruses’ are the antibodies combating us. Earth will survive, and we will join the dinosaurs, wooly mammoths, and saber-toothed tigers soon enough in her history."

Wretched is a melodic death metal band formed in 2005 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The group quickly established itself within the underground metal scene with their aggressive sound, characterized by intricate guitar work and relentless drumming, combined with a mix of growled and clean vocals. Their debut album, Ambushed, was released in 2007, showcasing their ability to blend technicality with melodic elements, which garnered them a loyal fanbase. Over the years, Wretched has released several albums, including Beyond the Gate (2010) and Son of Perdition (2013), solidifying their place in the metal community. The band has experienced lineup changes but has remained committed to evolving their sound and pushing musical boundaries while continuing to tour and impress audiences with their high-energy performances and relentless dedication to the genre.

The Bar Stool Preachers are a British punk rock and ska band formed in 2012 in Brighton, England. Known for their energetic sound that blends elements of ska, punk, and folk, the band often addresses social and political issues in their lyrics, delivered with a catchy and upbeat style and infectious melodies.

The Last Gang is a punk rock quartet from the Los Angeles formed in the early 2000s by singer and guitarist Brenna Red and broke out in 2017 with a British tour and a full-length album, Keep Them Counting, released in 2018 on Fat Wreck. Their most recent release Obscene Daydreams, was released in 2024 again on Fat Wreck in which New Noise Magazine called it, "a brilliant half-hour-plus of smart, fast, frenetic punk rock."
