Texas Hippie Coalition (THC) is an American rock band formed in 2004 in Denison, Texas that blends elements of Southern rock, heavy metal, and blues, characterized by their powerful sound that often reflects their Texas roots and camaraderie. Known for their high-energy live performances, THC's lineup features frontman Big Dad Ritch, whose distinct vocals and commanding stage presence anchor the band's music. The group's sound is further enhanced by the intricate guitar work that creates a heavy yet melodic atmosphere that resonates with audiences. Their lyrics often touch on themes of rebellion, life's struggles, and the Texas lifestyle, resonating with fans across various genres.

Since their formation, Texas Hippie Coalition has released several albums that have garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Their debut album, Pride of Texas, released in 2010, set the stage for their rise in the rock music scene, followed by a string of albums like Rollin' and Dark Side of Black. FW Shows and Broken Goblet Brewing present the Carnival of Death 2025 Tour with Vader, Kataklysm, Malevolent Creation & Skeletal Remains!

Legendary Polish Death Metal band Vader have built a loyal following for their aggressive sound and complex songwriting. Known for their fast-paced riffs, intricate guitar work, brutal growling vocals and lyrics reflecting themes of war, violence, and mythology, Vader gained international recognition with their 1992 album, De Profundis, which solidified their reputation as a significant force in the metal scene. Over the years, the band has maintained a loyal fanbase and continues to tour and release new music, showcasing their relentless energy and commitment. With the upcoming release of the band’s lastest effort on Nuclear Blast, the EP Humanihility offers scorching new songs that prove to be vicious, thrash-laden anthems perfectly blending old-school thrash with Vader's unique straight-forward fury and neckbreaking tempos.

Kataklysm is a Canadian death metal band formed in 1991 known for their aggressive sound and intricate musicianship. Hailing from Montreal, they gained prominence in the metal scene with their unique blend of melodic elements and brutal rhythms, often described as the "Northern Hyperblast" style. Over the years, the band has released several acclaimed albums and is recognized for their powerful live performances. Kataklysm continues to innovate within the death metal genre, with Goliath, their most recent release on Nuclear Blast further solidifying their status as one of metal's foremost acts.

Arising from the heavy metal hotbed of Florida in the early 90s (but originally from Buffalo, New York), Malevolent Creation have helped define the sound and style of American Death Metal. After issuing their seminal 1991 debut, the gore-soaked Ten Commandments, the band underwent some personnel and stylistic changes, moving toward a more progressive, technical Death Metal sound that they continued to mine on subsequent outings including their most recent effort, 2019's The 13th Beast.

Los Angeles Death Metal purveyors Skeletal Remains continue to tour in support of their 2024 Centrury Media release, Fragments of the Ageless. The brutalizing LP sees the band in top form delivering a pummeling assault. With Fragments of the Ageless Skeletal Remains have proven themselves as one of Death Metal's elite bands.

For over 20 years, The Dollyrots have been a shining example of how to mix raw punk energy with catchy, bubblegum melodies, all while living life entirely on their terms. Fronted by bassist and vocalist Kelly Ogden and guitarist Luis Cabezas, this power duo has built a legacy of anthemic tunes, relentless touring, and an unwavering DIY ethos. But what sets them apart isn’t just their music—it’s their ability to balance the chaos of punk rock with raising kids that are now old enough to take the stage on their own.

The band has released eight studio albums and played over two thousand shows since their 2004 debut on legendary punk label Lookout! Records. The next two albums came out through Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records, followed by several DIY, fan-funded releases and a current alliance with Wicked Cool Records. Long a staple in rotation on Sirius/XM’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage, the band’s consistent output has garnered them attention from far and wide.

Black Widows are a DIY surf-punk band from Minneapolis serving up wild surf guitar, riot grrrl vocals, and slick bass grooves.

FW Show and Broken Goblet Brewing are excited to welcome back the spirited sounds of Vancouver folk-punk band The Dreadnoughts and the charismatic anarcho folk-punk of Apes of the State, Thursday, August 21st!

Known for their high-energy performances and unique fusion of traditional folk influences and punk rock energy, The Dreadnoughts deliver a rousing show that showcases their dynamic instrumentation and poetic lyricism. Their infectious melodies and storytelling create an atmosphere that invites the audience to join in the revelry, making for a memorable night that bridges the gap between genres and cultures.

FW Shows and Broken Goblet present legendary NYHC act Life Of Agony Famiglia on their 30 Years of Ugly Tour 2025 with support from God Forbid. To celebrate 30 years of Ugly the band will be performing the album in its entirety along with a set of LOA favorites that you won't want to miss!

Life of Agony emerged from the New York music scene in the early '90s with one of the most distinctive sounds in its genre. Rolling Stone named their 1993 debut River Runs Red (Roadrunner Records) as one of the "100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. In addition, the album’s lead-off track “This Time” is considered byRolling Stone as one of the “100 Greatest Metal Songs of All Time.” For over three decades, Life of Agony has shared stages with the biggest names in rock, selling over one million albums to date, and building a die-hard, cult following in the process.

Formed in East Brunswick, New Jersey in 1996, God Forbid built a following in the late 1990s by touring with some of metal's most notable bands like GWAR, Nile, Cradle of Filth and Candiria, God Forbid's first full album Reject the Sickness was released by 9Volt Industries in 1999 and received heavy rotation from WSOU-FM in South Orange, New Jersey helping the band subsequently sign to Century Media Records.

FW Shows and Broken Goblet Brewing present Mates of State on their Somewhere Tour 2025!

GENERAL PUBLIC TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY MARCH 7TH AT 10AM.

Kori Gardner is one of the best female singers in modern music (and husband Jason is also no slouch). Their style is iconic – the effortless way their voices harmonize and volley back and forth, the movements within the song, the way they move from upbeat to pastoral so fluidly that you don't perceive it happening. Their instruments and voices all move as one piece, inseparable.

Through the years, the textures have become more intricate, deeper. They've begun throwing in the occasional trumpet or guitar, but it is still stunning how much they can do with just keyboards and drums. They move so far within the limitations of the two-piece format that you can't even call it a limitation. It feels as natural as the standard rock-and-roll four-piece.

Mates garnered a rabid following beginning in 1998 and toured nearly non-stop for 15 years, performing all over the world including runs with NPR’s This American Life, The Postal Service, The Strokes, Jimmy Eat World, Santigold and Death Cab for Cutie. They’ve also been seen on David Letterman, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Conan O’Brien, and Yo Gabba Gabba.

Mates’ have released 7 full length albums (on labels including Barsuk and Polyvinyl) while simultaneously starting a family of 3 daughters(!) who travelled the world with them on tour. The Mates’ paused touring from 2019-2024 to “give their girls a bit of an anchor through their teenage years”, while continuing to write and explore to find their next musical phase. Then, in the summertime of 2024, they resumed full-on with a 17-date tour (in 17 days!). A new album will follow in 2025.
