It may be a cliche when they say all good things must come to an end.

It all started 40 years ago as an idea to open a restaurant. In August of 1985, this idea became a reality. This uncertain beginning led to Papa JoDanni’s, then JoDanni’s Amore as well as a catering business.

There were ups and downs along the way, but the goal we established from the beginning was always in our minds; to provide our guests with a good meal and a friendly atmosphere. I want to truly thank all of my customers for their support.

Here we are 40 years later and while I feel we have achieved what we set out to do, I have mixed emotions about the decision I have made, because I will truly miss doing what I have been doing for the majority of my life but also know that the time has come to step away. I am both sad that this restaurant will not be a part of my life but content knowing I did the best I could to serve my customers to my utmost ability.

As of today, September 21st, JoDanni’s Amore will turn off its ovens for the last time.
