UNDER CONSTRUCTION! Play Theory Cafe is Bend’s newest indoor playground cafe.

The play area consists of a pretend town for imaginative play, interactive STEM exhibits, a Cedarworks play structure, and an arts and crafts room.

We are expanding our network of children's entertainment and educators. Do you know of any local instructors who provide engaging and valuable classes for kids? We would love to find party characters, face painters, dance teachers, robotics teachers, art teachers, gardeners, etc.

Figuring out what to do this summer? We have a summer break membership geared towards teachers and parents with kids on school break.

$120 pass with unlimited visits from June 12th to September 3rd. This membership doesn't have any of the perks of our regular membership. If you're looking for more, reach out!

We are hiring!!! If you're passionate about serving families, please join our team. We will need a few baristas and a weekend playground manager. We provide paid training and opportunities to add hours.

We have been working hard in construction. We have 1 more month to wrap up the building process and we can start moving our exhibits out of storage and start playground installation.

We have many STEM opportunities, including a monthly rotating exhibit that will feature activity tables on the theme for a large age range.

We can't wait to show you more once installation begins!

Happy New Year, Bend! We are very excited to open our doors this spring!

I wanted to share another great vendor, Cedarworks. They make beautifully crafted cedar structures. Ours has two slides, ramps, climbing ladders, a bridge with a clear deck, and many other fun features.

Stay tuned! We are going to start showing some more vendors, local partnerships and construction progress!

4,000 sq. feet of demo was really fun to watch. We are currently framing the new ADA bathrooms and event room!

Here's a sneak peek into our custom pretend town! Our amazing vendor, , has been building these for months now. They have made a city featuring a veterinary clinic, market, cafe with pizza oven, construction zone, mail center, firetruck and a retro Camper. Each play house is equipped with toys and interactive features to make them come to life!

Play Theory Cafe is Bend's new indoor playground and cafe. We are dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and fun space for families. We're excited to open our doors in Spring 2025!

Our space consists of a pretend town for open-ended play, a wooden play structure to get those wiggles out, an arts and crafts room, and a collection of STEM exhibits to encourage critical thinking and exploration. Our cafe will serve specialty coffee and drinks as well as a variety of foods, including Sparrow Bakery sandwiches and baked goods. We will also have a birthday/class room and party rentals.
