A classic black and white wedding held on a lawn part of a working farm with the reception in a beautiful barn. We used a touch of green amaranth, green hydrangea, and orchids in the bridal bouquet to create a design mix of traditional with contemporary.

Some people like to build sand castles with sand. We had the opportunity to build a wedding castle in the sand. Our client had envisioned a large cross for the ceremony that they could later place in their yard, so we custom made one to match our rental arch.

Our couple picked a beautiful vineyard for their wedding and reception. They used the natural colors of their surroundings to inspire their color palette which matched the grapes and the garden. Look closely and you can see hydrangeas of the mauve colors in the background.

Our couple this week asked us to create their wedding design ideas by incorporating roses and daisies, because they had been used in the bride and groom’s mother’s wedding bouquets. We added to those meaningful flowers the bride and groom’s favorites and their color palette to decorate the tables inside the Madonna Inn.

Our latest vintage wedding started at a redwood grove in Roaring Camp for the ceremony. The couple asked us to create florals that featured the couple’s favorite flowers along with redwood to symbolize the area the bride grew up in the U.S.A. and eucalyptus to symbolize the groom’s roots in Australia. Yep, even kangaroo paw was used. From the ceremony, they rode to a private home in a 1929 Ford we decorated with two floral arrangements that later decorated the sweetheart table.

We are so lucky to deliver wedding florals to magnificent places, and the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa has an incredible ocean view with sea otters floating nearby. Our couple picked pink, lavender and white for their color scheme, and wanted to tie in the ocean theme, so we created submerged florals. Freedom Bakery created a fun fishing design, and we added one of the bride’s favorite flowers, the calla lily.

The wedding color palette aligned perfectly with the beautiful florals in season. Dahlias were dramatic focal flower, and they were the couples favorite flower. They were grown locally from a long time farmer, so they had a special meaning being used at a historical barn.

A small church was the backdrop for our wedding in Felton. They wanted classic white with an accent of blue for the color theme. This couple asked for a bridal bouquet made into two separate bouquets. During the ceremony, a simple ribbon was pulled and the two bouquets were given to the mothers.

It was lucky to get these gorgeous pink peonies in season to compliment the baby's breath and mini calla lilies all of which were on the bride and groom's favorite flower list. Creating designs with meaningful flowers for clients makes them extra special.

Classic white was the floral theme for our weekend wedding with the white peony shining as a gorgeous focal flower. The formal ballroom was a stately location for dinner and dancing.
