Good morning, friends.
We want to take a moment to reflect with full hearts and deep gratitude.

The recent storms left a trail of destruction throughout our area — and like so many of you, we found ourselves without power or water in the middle of it all. But what unfolded next was nothing short of extraordinary.

As we prepared to host a 270-guest wedding without electricity or running water, our family, friends, and vendor community showed up in force. They rolled up their sleeves, got creative, and poured every ounce of love and effort into making sure our bride and groom had the celebration they deserved.

From cleaning with flashlights and hauling buckets of lake water to mop floors, to hand-picking debris from walkways and prepping food by lantern light… it was nothing short of heroic.

💙 We live in a community where love shows up — and we are endlessly thankful.

Special thanks to:

✨ Minnesota Nice Cafe — who cooked an incredible wedding meal by lantern light and delivered full-service dining with heart.

✨ Richard with Potty Shacks - who answered the call immediately and brought what we needed, fast and without hesitation.

✨ Our incredible family, friends, and staff — you gave 1000%, cleaning in the dark, hauling, mopping, lifting, encouraging. We saw you, and we are so grateful.

This week reminded us: storms may come, but the strength of this community shines even brighter.

With each event, we prepare based on reservations — and when those fall through, it often means extra food and missed opportunities for others who wanted to join.

To help us better accommodate everyone, we’ve decided not to take reservations for our next Bistro Night and will welcome guests on a first-come, first-served basis. We so appreciate your understanding and continued support!
