On behalf of the entire Formalities team, we want to firstly extend our gratitude for everyone’s patience and understanding while working with us through this extremely unforeseen summer season. We can’t say ‘thank-you’ enough! ❤️

Never did we think we’d be impacted by the historic Bemidji storm in the way we have been—but we’re choosing to see it as an unexpected store remodel, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back this fall!

We realize that so much has been up-in-the-air, and we haven’t liked leaving our clients in the unknown—at all!! But, we kindly ask for your continued patience, as we are still waiting on a definitive re-opening date at this time.

In the meantime, there are lots of exciting things in the works for our store!

Store update, Thursday 6/26:

Sorry for the delay between updates, but we have been tireless working to figure out a strategy moving forward, while we await assessment over the storm damage that our building suffered over the weekend.

As of now, the store is still temporarily closed, and will remain that way for the foreseeable future. >>> This unfortunately means 𝐧𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤-𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 at this time.

If you need to reach us with inquiries regarding shopping—please call us, or direct message us.

The good news, is that we are still able to meet with our clients for alteration appointments and pick ups of merchandise, at a temporary location! We will continue to reach out to everyone regarding their upcoming appointments.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility during this unforeseen circumstance. It has been an exhausting weekend/week, but we are blessed with INCREDIBLE clients and we can’t say ‘thank you’ enough. ❤️

The Formalities team is working hard to create a solution to the extensive storm damage that occurred over the weekend.

We want to once again, reassure our clients that all of their personal merchandise is SAFE… it is truly a miracle, one that we are SO grateful for. 🙏🏼❤️

UPDATE (Sunday, 6/22):

Downtown Bemidji has been working tirelessly to restore buildings and clean up after the significant storm that struck the community on early Saturday morning.

On behalf of the Formalities staff, we want to assure you that our bride’s purchased gowns and other personal merchandise, is and was, safe—and was able to be recovered without damages. 🤍

*** We will be available for timely merchandise pick-up for all our upcoming weddings!!
