✅ Low Light ≠ No Light! Keep plants away from direct sun but ensure they can still “see” the light. Snake plants & ZZ plants are great low-light options! 🌿

✅ Medium Light = Indirect Bright Light! These plants need 2-5 hours of filtered light daily. Too much? Leaves may scorch. Too little? Growth gets spindly! Try ferns, prayer plants, & syngoniums. 🌤️

✅ Bright Light Lovers! Most blooming plants, succulents, & cacti thrive in 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. A sunny south-facing window is best! 🌞

✅ Rotate Your Plants! Turning them with each watering helps them grow evenly instead of leaning toward the light. 🌀

"Flowers have a way of speaking when words fall short." That’s what drew me to floral design, and it’s what keeps me passionate about this business every single day.

I’m Amy, the owner of Netzer’s Floral since 2013. Growing up in Bemidji, I spent countless hours gardening with my mom and grandma—digging in the dirt, soaking up the sun, and creating something beautiful from the earth. I can still remember the feeling of coming inside after a morning in the garden, hands covered in soil, my skin warm from the sun, and my heart full from the simple joy of growing something with love.

When I purchased this shop, I didn’t just buy a business—I became part of a legacy that has been bringing beauty to our community since 1952. I love being a part of this local legacy, carrying on the tradition of artistry and service that has made Netzer’s Floral such a cherished part of Bemidji.

While I may not be a traditional artist, working with flowers allows me to bring color, texture, and emotion together in a way that speaks to people’s most important moments—weddings, celebrations, and even the quiet gestures of love and remembrance.

Even after 11 years in business, in many ways, I feel like a brand-new business owner again. This year, I’ve reignited my passion for serving our community, creating stunning florals, and helping people celebrate life’s most special moments.
