I am sure we here at the Community Building stand with the entire community in sharing our deepest sympathies to the family of Sheri Casey who passed away this morning. Sheri, for many years, was a staple in our community. She was the face to so many functions and organizations and if you were at an event with food likely it was made from the heart by Sheri (from Pacemaker). Not only was she one of the hardest working people and one of the most giving people she was a friend to all. I am blessed to have called Sheri my friend for many years and will miss her voice and laugh beyond words, even if was over the phone lines for the last 5 years. Belvidere and Boone County is a better place because of her and we should all strive to move forward trying to be even just a little like Sheri. She will certainly be missed.
