The business principles of Tirzah are founded on a poetic love story in the Bible’s Old Testament known as Song of Solomon, also referenced as the Song of Songs meaning the greatest of all songs. Literally, the book is a romantic depiction of marriage; however symbolically, it is a beautiful representation of Christ and His church. This enchanting collection of love poems is between a man and a woman celebrating the relationship that God intended for marriage; it begins with the courtship, a wedding, and the maturing marriage. The biblical poet portrays marriage to be celebrated, enjoyed, and revered; the marriage is a model of care, commitment, and delight. The journey begins in Chapter 1 with the Bride confessing her love … “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine.” The Groom delights in her beauty, “Behold, you are beautiful, my love; your eyes are doves.” Their love is blossoming in Chapter 3 when she affirms that she has “found the one whom her soul loves.” In Chapter 4, he admires the beauty of his Bride, and says, “My bride; you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes.”

Their love continues in Chapter 6 as they are together in the picturesque garden. She tells him, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” He passionately responds with “Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah.” In the 8th chapter, the last chapter, final advice is provided in that “Many waters cannot quench love!”

An amazing Farewell Celebration was held at Tirzah honoring Belton Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Cynthia Hernandez. It was a come and go Reception.

After more than 20 years with the Belton Economic Development Corporation, Cynthia has accepted a position with the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce as its next president and CEO.

The colors of the celebration were black and red for Belton. Balloons were in the display windows. There was a giant tv with a slide show of sweet memories. Smooth jazz music was playing during the event.

Votives with tea light candles and cylinder vases filled with colored crinkle cut paper shred and fairy lights with a touch of greenery made beautiful centerpieces.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon of desserts with vanilla cake, vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, nuts, candy, and beverages. One of the drinks was a specialty called Dragon Fruit Devotion.

A wonderful article about Cynthia and her accomplishments was in the Belton Journal. In the article, there was even a sweet mention of Tirzah. 🥰

We wish Cynthia all the best as she starts her next chapter. ✨♥️✨

Take One Step Every Day In The Direction Of Your Dreams! 💕👣

Today marks our 12th Anniversary of purchasing an abandoned, condemned, historic building at a tax auction in 2014, an investment that was a great risk. I spent my entire life savings on the purchase; the building was still condemned; the preservation effort would definitely require more than a coat of paint to restore this diamond in the rough back to its historic state for future generations to enjoy.

This photo was taken at the beginning of our journey as we took a giant step in the direction of our dream when we purchased this historic building that was condemned by the city. The interior was sight unseen at the time of the auction. We did not know the extent of the damage. We discovered the second story joist was broken. With God’s help, we were able to preserve history.

Throughout our journey, we have met the nicest people doing the nicest things for other people, and we have been blessed to be a part of the special moments in their lives. We still "do not know what the future may hold, but we know who holds the future" ... And so, we continue taking steps in our journey.

If you walk by Faith and take one step every day in the direction of your dreams, over time, when you look back, you will be amazed at how far you have gone. ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!’ Take that step.

Blessed by God For 60 Years! 💛🎂

Jamie Lee Beaver celebrated a Surprise 60th Birthday Party at Tirzah with family and friends. The color theme for the celebration was white with gold accents. There were gold curled ribbons with white Christmas balls creating a soft and elegant tablescape. Refreshments included sandwiches, vegetables, hot cocoa, and more.

Since it was a surprise party, the daughter got Jamie Lee to the celebration by telling her they were taking a tour of the venue for her granddaughter’s 10th birthday with a “Breakfast At Tiffany” theme; however, the birthday party was for her.

After the party, her daughter Brandi said, “Diana, it went so well! She was surprised!! Thank so so much for everything!” This makes my heart so happy. 🥰

We wish this beautiful lady a wonderful birthday, and we hope all of her wishes come true! ✨💛✨

Happy Birthday! May your special day be spooky, sweet, and full of tricks and treats!" 👻🍰

Lydian Norton celebrated her Spooktacular Surprise 10th Birthday Party at Tirzah with family and friends. Lydian’s grandfather took her to eat ice cream as guests were arriving to the party. Lydian was surprised when she entered the venue, and guests yelled “Surprise!” as they came out from the back area. 🎉

The color theme for the celebration was black and white with ghosts and cobwebs. There was a BOOtiful balloon backdrop. Refreshments included pizza and cupcakes. Fun games were played such as Toilet Paper Mummy Wrap and a Ghost Piñata.

I love repeat clients and getting to know the families. Lydian’s grandmother celebrated her 60th birthday at the venue last year.

We wish this sweet girl a FaBOOlous birthday, and we hope all of her wishes come true.✨💖✨

A Little Hunter Is On The Way! 🦌🦆

Peyton Farr had a beautiful Baby Shower at Tirzah to welcome a baby boy! 💙

The celebration was a “Hunter” theme with ducks, deer, and colors green, beige, brown, and white. Centerpieces were bud vases with baby’s breath on wood slices. The pom garland on the backdrop gave a touch of botanical elegance.

Refreshments consisted of sandwiches, fruit, chips, dips, cupcakes, cookies, chocolate-covered pretzels, and more. Fun guessing games were played that included of Guess How Many Teddy Grams and Guess Who Mom or Dad.

We wish this sweet family many blessings. ✨💙✨

A Tale of Two Tailgates 💙♥️✨💚💛

Jonathan and Caroline Gonzalez had a beautiful Gender Reveal at Tirzah. They are big college football fans so the theme for the celebration was a “Tailgate Party” of Baylor and Ole Miss. Caroline went to college at Ole Miss, and Jonathan is a fire fighter and has worked the Baylor games. Half of the room was decorated for Baylor for team Boy; the other half of the room was decorated for Ole Miss for team Girl.

The Ole Miss Tailgate had cardinal red and navy blue colors with navy chair covers with red bows. Centerpieces for Ole Miss were magnolia’s for the state flower of Mississippi. The Baylor Tailgate was green and gold with green gingham tablecloths and yellow and white flowers for the centerpieces.

There was an amazing balloon display that went from one side of the tri-fold backdrop to the other blending the two collage schools in the center. Guests made their guess by standing under the balloon arch for their team.

The Couple cut a cake to reveal the gender, and inside was the color green! 💚 It’s a BOY! Sic ‘em, Bears!! 🐻 The baby’s name will be Timothy Aaron Gonzalez; in the Gonzalez line, Aaron has been passed down as the middle name for generations. Their child’s nickname will be TAG for his initials.

Refreshments included pulled pork, sausage balls, pigs in a blanket, chicken salad sandwiches, five-layer mexican dip, chips, salsa, jalapeño poppers, deviled eggs, pimento cheese dip, crackers, cake, and cupcakes.

I love repeat clients and getting to know the families. The Mom-to-be’s brother, JohnZachary, had his high school Graduation Blessing at the venue. He is excited to be an uncle! Shelly, the soon to be 1st time grandmother, will be called Shellbug by her grandson.

Forever Forty! 🌸🧡🌿

Jessica Anne Kingsley had a beautiful Celebration of Life at Tirzah. The theme was colorful and light with colors orange, purple, blue, and white. In Jessica’s honor, guests attended wearing bright colors. Centerpieces consisted of vibrant floral arrangements.

Sadly, Jessica passed away on a trip to Utah. On her last day, she had the best day in the mountains where she took a photo which is a treasure to her family. As she was returning, she was in a car wreck. Life is fragile. Cherish every moment!

Jessica’s greatest joy was her family … her husband, Joshua Gepner and her four children, Kaylee, Julian, Elijah and Kolbie. Jessica graduated from Temple High School in 2003. She attended night school while raising four kids and became a nurse in 2023. She earned the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses making meaningful differences in the lives of individuals that Jessica was very proud of.

Refreshments included an amazing charcuterie grazing table and a delectable cake.

May treasured memories ease this time of sorrow for this sweet family. Jessica will be greatly missed and will live forever in their hearts. ✨💜✨

Fun, Laughter, Unforgettable Memories, and CHEER! ♥️📣

Lake Belton High School Varsity Cheer had a special dinner at Tirzah to honor the Seniors. The Cheerleaders were celebrating teamwork, spirit, and the start of an incredible season. The Seniors wore white dresses, and the others wore red or black.

The colors of the celebration red, white, black, and silver. Cheer uniforms with matching poms made awesome centerpieces on each table. The floral centerpieces were given to the Seniors after the celebration. There were two amazing backdrops, giant marquee L and B letters, and a Senior Wall with a picture of each Senior cheerleader when they were young.

Refreshments included pasta, salad, breadsticks, a double decker cookie cake in the letters L and B, and a dirty soda bar.

From cheering at football games to basket tosses to friendships, may they all cherish this special time and the memories they are making! ✨♥️✨
