On the bench today. I'm not sure it gets much better than this palette! Sending love to all the couples that trust me with their wedding flowers.

And getting full creative freedom is the cherry on top šŸ’šŸŒ¼

I went out to cut flowers and did this instead...

Walked. Breathed. Prayed.

Let the brain clouds clear.

Sometimes the field gives me exactly what I need, even when it isn't what I went out there for.

It was too wet to cut anything anyway. šŸ™ƒ

What to Expect When You Customize Wedding Flowers With Me

Custom doesn’t mean recreating a photo flower-for-flower. It means creating something specifically for you, using your color preferences, overall style, and the flowers I have available from the farm.

Here’s how it works:
1. We start with your vision.
You’ll share your color palette, style, and any preferences you have for your piece.
2. I’ll send you a photo of the floral palette.
Before I begin designing, I’ll pull together the flowers I plan to work with and send you a photo so you can see the colors, textures, and overall direction.
3. If requested, I’ll send one progress photo.
When your piece is about 90% complete, I can send a photo for a final look before I finish it.
4. The finished piece stays a surprise.

Once we’re aligned, I’ll add the final details, make any finishing adjustments, and complete the design. I intentionally don’t send a final photo—I want opening your flowers to still feel special.

Because I work with farm-grown flowers and natural materials, every piece is one-of-a-kind. The goal isn’t an exact replica—it’s a finished design that feels like you while still reflecting my natural, wildflower style.

Hands down, my favorite purchase of the year. Three weeks later, they are back in full bloom and looking gorgeous! And I've used this sooo many times because frankly, I have more garden than I can handle and it's the perfect reset.

Give me all the fall textures! I'm loving the harvests these days (especially since it's not 1000° at the moment) and the shift in the drying shed. I am eager to work with these this fall!

A touch of autumn you can tuck into all the little corners of your home. šŸ‚

Our 6" dried flower wreaths are just the right size for shelves, hooks, cabinet doors, leaning against vases, the list goes on — a simple way to slowly transition into the fall season.

Made with flowers grown and dried right here at Flutter Farms, each one is a tiny piece of the season that’ll last well beyond fall.

Where would you put one?

I’ve been tossing around an idea for fall and want to see what my local people think before I get too carried away. šŸ‚

What if I turned the farmstand into a little Flutter Farms Fall Shop for a weekend?

I’m picturing larger pieces like dried flower wreaths available by pre-order, then filling the stand with smaller grab-and-go things — dried flower pumpkins, petite fall bouquets, DIY kits, and a few other seasonal things from the workbench.

Pre-ordering the bigger pieces would let me make specifically for the people who want them (and give you some choices on colors), while still having plenty to browse if you just want to stop by.

Would you come shop something like this?

And more importantly... what would you want me to have? Wreaths? Pumpkins? Bouquets? DIY? Something else?

Tell me below — I’m genuinely using your answers to decide what this turns into. šŸ‘‡

Sometimes I have a whole story to tell about a piece. Sometimes I just really like how it turned out. šŸ˜‚

This is one of those.

So many of these flowers started out in the field months ago, were cut and hung to dry, and eventually made their way to my workbench. I never quite know what they'll become until I start pulling things together—and I think that's still my favorite part of working with dried flowers.

Anyway, no profound thoughts today. Just a wreath I really like.
