I'm going to offer a little more about the November 9th wedding that absolutely made it special, not just for the wedding itself, but for me personally.
In the 20 years that I've done weddings and events, I definitely have favorites for all sorts of reasons.... decor.... guest favors.... the entertainment..... the vendors..... the couples..... the day..... so many things!
Molly's mom reached out a little more than 30 days before the wedding. Best part, we were able to solidify all the details within the final 2 weeks and everything went exactly how it should have!
Now the personal part.....while Molly and I sat upstairs in the Villa working through last minute touches between her laptop and my phone and her maid of honor keeping us company, my 14 year old called and asked if it was ok to come with me and help. Molly graciously said "come on, the more the merrier!" And when I share these images, I have to tell you that this teenager worked just as hard as an assistant I've had to finish setting up the reception area. Especially when I had to leave her by herself to get everyone moving in the right directions, check in with the wedding party and get everyone from one side of the property to the Chalet.
This one will always hold a special place in my heart. My 14 year old daughter worked 14 hours without complaints, providing solutions without hesitation, assisted with the kiddos, and was extremely professional the entire day.
Everyone arrived to a beautiful setup provided by us (mostly Morgan as I was assisting the bride), the venue staff and the amazing florist!
