🍘Kimchee Furikake Fresh-Made Fries 🥔
My soul is excited to be a sacred guest on the Big Island, Hawai’i! Conjured by the Ancestors. It’s the closest place I feel at home without physically being in the homeland.
I am having a blast eating from the aina, and focusing on less food waste. 🤙🏽The kimchee was made locally by in Honoka’a and is a perfect compliment to fresh made fries & ono toppings: fresh garlic, organic avocado, Hawaiian salt, sweet chili sauce, & Furikake seasoning! Ma der, ma der! Come come, let’s EAATTTT!

This year has been incredibly challenging and humbling on many levels, with the theme of LEGACY ringing in the air. I am engaged in carrying the traditions, values, foods, stories, love, healing, community building and hope in the present, and planting seeds for future Generations to come. Give thanks to Grandmother Spirit for reuniting with my mother in her dream. Give thanks to my mother and father who had the courage to leave everyone behind and risked everything for their unborn seeds.

Happy Autumn y’all! Thanks for staying with us. We are not kicking off any special offerings at the moment, but are still available for catered family meals and meal peeps!
It’s the season for warm yummies. Thank you for being a number one supporter of Jai Foods. I enjoyed making mama’s delicious curry recipe and can’t wait to expand on soup based & curry based offerings.

Thum Mak Hoong (Lao) / Som Tum (Thai) aka Papaya Salad: sour, sweet, spicy, salty, umami combo flavor explosions in your mouth! It’s traditionally enjoyed with sticky rice, cabbage, pork rinds, vermicelli noodles...
I like eating it with chopsticks and a handful of water spinach, herbs, and cabbage after each bite 🤗. And love toasted peanuts on top! It’s my favorite snack at any moment bc of it’s communal style of eating. ❤️

🙏🏼 Lao Language lessons... even before saying “Sabaidee”/ Hello with a nop (prayer hand gesture)... a very common greeting to someone is “Have you eaten yet?” Because if you haven’t, we will most definitely be catching over a delicious meal and toasting like there’s no tomorrow. 😃Gratitude as a way of being.
Happy Saturday everyone! Full day of orders today. So grateful for this month launch of our delicious snack offerings. Next week we plan to offer something different as we reflect on this experience. What y’all want to eat!? Meditating on BBQ Jackfruit taco plates, more dipping sauce, Nam Khao (Crispy Coconut Rice w/ curry, herbs, lettuce wraps) for 2-3 servings instead of half pans, plates with rolls / desserts/ drinks, curries, tofu / tempeh dishes... let us know! We love feedback and aim to satisfy!

📣Help feed firefighters who are battling the CZU Lightning Complex! Sacrilege Brewery, their incredible team , and community in Half Moon Bay need our our help! 💸💰

Our amazing crew ( & Sal pictured here 👆) was able to DOUBLE our meal efforts from yesterday- sending out 150+ meals to firefighters + front line workers thanks to our kitchen crew + front of house all coming together to “Ford it,” which is what we call our collective, assembly-line style packaging 😅🍽🍽🍽🍽🍽
We have been floored by the donations coming in to cover our food costs to make these daily meals happen- THANK YOU! We are aiming to send 200+ meals down today, and every day until they are no longer needed.
If you’re looking for ways to help + would like to donate to our Feed a Firefighter fund 100% of proceeds will be used to purchase ingredients to make meals, as well as water, energy drinks, and electrolyte drinks.
👉Any + all unspent monetary donations to us for this cause will be donated directly to our Coastside Cal Fire devision👈 They’ll be needing help with other resources after this fire has been contained, and we are committed to ensuring 100% of donations go entirely + directly to the heroes helping us get through ++ recover from this 🚒🚒🚒

🍩This Jai Snack Sampler was the Supreme Vision for our offerings. It took 3 years to manifest, and not because we didn’t know how (it’s in our DNA/ Ancestor downloads), but because this is the right time. The right climate. Energy. Motivation. & Mindset shift. 🌈🧚🏽‍♀️Happy Friyay! ‼️Excellent news‼️... we are working on our waste management & Earth preservation and will be using plant-based straws and biodegradable / compostable sauce cups this Saturday! We plan to fully transition with our cups in the near future. If anyone has a great referral, please let us know! It’s way more expensive for a small business to transition to ECO packaging, but I guess it’s even more costly when we are choking on plastics.
Super shout out to who is a pioneer in the Vegan food game in this city, offering delivered meals WEEKLY y’all!! They’ve been an inspiration to us since DAY ONE, giving us feedback and helpful insights...we are soul grateful! They even donated cooler bags for our food safety traveling needs.. that’s pure love & support! Nourish just won a sustainability award for their business’ recycling & Earth perseveration efforts! What a great role model for all business owners. ❤️ DO follow them & order a delicious variety of single serving - family sized offerings, drinks!!, desserts, & local partnership items!
