Jess & TJ were some of the most fun clients to work with, and this day could not have gone more perfectly!

Fun Fact: My doctor asked for me to be induced (9+ months pregnant with Brandon) on Jess & TJ's wedding day, and I refused so that I could be onsite for the setup and get to see them both before heading home to pack my bags for a Monday birth instead! I just couldn't resist getting to see all our hard work come together, and they were truly the sweetest and most understanding clients, so I had to see them in all their glory on the day of!

Wedding invitations are not just paper that 'they're going to throw away eventually', they are a peek into what is to come!

Your invitation sets the tone for the design and when you treat it like 'just paper', the entire direction of your day can feel messy and unintentional.

When done right, your invitation and the day of needs to follow can quite literally make guests feel like they've stepped into the brand that is your marriage!

What’s a Wedding Day Non-Negotiable for me?

100% making sure my clients get a solid 30-40 minutes of photos for JUST the two of them! Whether that time follows a First Look before the ceremony, or if it has to be tucked into the cocktail hour and a moment during the reception, THESE photos are the most special (in my opinion) and the ones you will likely frame above all the rest!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your photographer team is expected to capture MANY moments throughout the day. There is a ton of pressure that comes with that, but creating a shot list based on priority is so helpful for them to know what is most important to you, and I personally feel that this time with just the two of you should be at the TOP of the list!

This time together is also a perfect way to slow down the day, enjoy it, focus on each other, reflect on what has happened, what is to come,

Sunday was a special day for me!
We gathered our family to celebrate Daniel's FIRST BIRTHDAY!

These photos hit my inbox a week ago, and since that time I have found myself overwhelmed with gratitude seeing them nestled in an album full of beauty, talented vendors, delicious food, and many excited couples that will be getting married this year! My Daniel made the album, a reminder that he is welcome here.

If you are a past client of mine within the last 3 years or a current one, you know that it has been common for me to have a baby in tow. Not always by choice, but an option I am incredibly grateful to have. I have had my fair share of moments where I have felt embarrassed and worried my clients or fellow vendors would find me unprofessional as I brought along my infant to meetings or wedding rehearsals. Despite my fears, those doubts have always been met with an overwhelming acceptance and understanding from the best clients and community in the world - words can't even describe the magnitude of the appreciation that has always made me feel.

With no babies on the way (giggle of relief), and Daniel about to reach a new milestone in not needing me so much, this crazy season of 'Mom Boss' is coming to an end and I find myself a little emotional about it. Not that I am sad it is over, but just incredibly thankful to all of you who have allowed me and my children into your spaces.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to all of you who have allowed me to be a Mom first, and a Wedding Planner second. THANK YOU to the Moms of my clients for looking at my children with tender eyes and reminding me that these days are short and before I know it, I will be standing where you are, missing these wild moments. Your kindness and understanding compiled with your trust in allowing me to be a major part of this season for YOU is something I will never take for granted.

Hi. I’m Sarah.

Originally from the gorgeous New England state of Vermont, I love Ben & Jerry’s, REAL Maple Syrup, and Cabot cheese on my apples! A lover of the lake, mountains and ocean, I am always up for an outdoor adventure or a quick weekend getaway.

I believe there isn’t a problem in the world that can’t be resolved with some Jesus, champagne, and sprinkles… sprinkles on soft serve or sprinkles on a donut… winners get sprinkles!

My career in events started way back in High School when I worked on the banquets staff at The Equinox, a Luxury Collection Golf Resort and Spa. Despite the long hours, I absolutely loved working weddings and cried at every maid of honor/best man speech (and still do today). I received my bachelor’s degree in Sports Entertainment and Event Management from Johnson & Wales University, Charlotte. I have gained more than 10 years of experience in the industry working for companies within the NBA, AHL, NFL, PGA, NASCAR, and the Olympics.
