Y’all meet Duncan from Massachusetts!
Duncan now lives in Colorado but is working here in Grayson County this week. Like so many people who have never driven down Vernon Street before, he spotted the Fenway Park Wiffle Ball field, slammed on the brakes, and just had to turn around and come check it out.
He couldn’t believe that he was standing in front of a Fenway replica in tiny Bells, Texas!
After showing him around, I asked if he’d like me to throw him some batting practice so he could see if he could hit one over the Green Monster.
It may have been the fastest “YES!” in the history of mankind.
As he was leaving, he told me, “None of my buddies back in Boston are going to believe this when I send them these pictures and videos.”
Then this afternoon, he texted me again and said he still couldn’t believe the experience he had here today.
It’s pretty neat to think that a little place in Bells, Texas, is creating memories for people from all over the country and beyond!
