Halladay’s Flowers and Gifts has been in business since 1895 and has always been a community go-to to find fresh and current trends. Marsha Austin, Owner of Halladay’s Flowers & Gifts worked for Halladay's Harvest Barn Founders, Rick and Kathleen Govotski, for 25 years. She worked her way up in the business and dedicated herself to learn about everything she could from purchasing and making decisi

ons, running classes, managing the greenhouse, designing beautiful florals, the ins and outs of retail, hosting events, and more! In 2020, Marsha made the decision to purchase the business and is a huge advocate for shopping local and supporting other local merchants. She is active in the community and works with the Chamber and Bellows Falls Downtown Development Alliance and loves putting together fundraising events. She also contributes to charitable organizations and donates to local causes, such as Relay for Life, and area schools. Our team is composed of talented designers who will help you to create one-of-a-kind arrangements of flowers for all of the special occasions and events in your life. Our downtown shop is always filled to the brim with fresh flowers, yummy Halladay’s Harvest Barn products, locally-made gifts, wine, and a well-stocked plant room! We love supporting our community members through life's events such as weddings and other celebrations.

For this wedding, it was daisies.

The groom’s mother had recently passed away, so daisies were incorporated throughout the wedding as a way to honor her memory. From the ceremony aisle to the reception tables, these flowers became a quiet reminder that she was still part of the day.

One of the things we love most about wedding flowers is that they’re often more than décor. They can tell a story, honor a loved one, or help keep someone’s memory close on an important day.

Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful celebration. 🤍
