What lessons will you carry with you? And what new resolutions and adventures await you as we dance into the New Year ahead? We are so thankful for our journey together and our friendship that has brought us this far and will carry us into the future. Thank you for joining us on this journey and may we celebrate together again very soon. “The Macy’s parade is on the television, the turkey is in the oven, and relatives and friends are on their way. Thanksgiving hosts nationwide are busily preparing the feast and taking care of last minute details. Do we need an extra leaf for the table? Where are the spare chairs? Don’t forget the napkins! In the kitchen, the host is a blur, juggling stuffing, yams, green beans, and pies. Mashing potatoes, stirring the cranberry sauce, and reducing the gravy. And of course, keeping a close eye on the turkey to make sure it is beautifully bronzed, succulent, and juicy. The jewel of the feast. Oh my, look at the time! As the meal comes together and the celebration is about to begin it is time for the host to steal away and make her own personal preparations. Time to transform from practical preparer to enlivened entertainer. This is a day for welcoming all with a thankful heart, making guests feel at home, rested, and refreshed. And of course, what better way can this be done than through a fantastic feast. The greatest hosts of all make sure no one leaves with an empty stomach.”
