The Story of OASIS
Hi, I’m Richard Hartnell. After freelancing in the circus for about ten years, I realized that a lot of my friends and colleagues needed some help. I have worked in the field as a performer, event producer, international liaison, house manager, board member, and technical director. Now I’m focusing those skills to help other artists.
After seeing enough events crash due to poor technical decisions, I decided to formally enter the field as a production consultant. The goal is to help artists enter the field -- and to make bad art good, good art great, and great art legendary.
Until 2021, net profits from this project will be passed on to the Prescott Circus and the Bellingham Circus Guild, two circus arts nonprofits.
