Come see us and all this gorgeous and vibrant flowers tomorrow at the Ketchum Farmer’s Market. We’ll be at the Forest Service Park from 12-4pm with an incredible selection of late-summer, early fall blooms. It’ll be the last time to see us there until OCTOBER. So get your butts over there and get ready for the three day weekend with our blooms!

We’re headed into another wedding weekend in the Idaho mountains! I consider myself so lucky to work with couples that are conscious about where their flowers come from - just as they are concerned about how far their food has traveled. It means the world to them that I consider their budget, color palette, and style then incorporate those factors into our crop plan. Sometimes specific flowers are planted for a particular wedding day! You really can’t get more tailored flowers than that.

We are officially in the Ketchum and Hailey Atkinsons' Market!

We dropped off the most juicy, summery bouquets that are hyper fresh. They were harvested only 24 hours ago! So when you’re grabbing lunch or a few groceries, snag a bouquet too! Because shopping local is the coolest thing you can do.

All I do is eat, sleep, harvest, w**d, and make bouquets. Five tasks and yet I’m so tired. So maybe just buy a bouquet and check in on your other farmer friends?

I are so excited to tell you about a boutique we stumbled upon over the spring. floriori is a small, independent business rooted in Connecticut - part of a creative studio Kate Spain has been building since 2008. Since 2015, floriori has been bringing her botanical artwork to life on premium phone cases and apparel. I snagged one of Kate’s Chamomile cases and I’m obsessed. Usually phone cases don’t get
my juices flowing but this one spoke to me. There’s no other way to put it. Every time I see the back of my phone, I can’t help but smile. That’s new! And knowing that the design is inspired by the founder, Kate’s, pollinator- friendly garden makes my heart sing!

Attached below is a picture of my beloved new case resting in our feverfew patch (the closest thing we have to chamomile). If you love it, check out their website and support a badass artist that is doing all they can to make the world a better place!

Our crew may be small but we are mighty! I am so honored and grateful to introduce you all to my team of badass ladies who make the hard work of farming into a joy.

and her sweet black lab, Sam, bring years of plant knowledge and a true passion for flowers to the farm every day. They are the ones who make sure your flowers are delivered in a timely and beautiful manner.

and her long-legged pup, George, may only work one day a week but they show up with a need for dirt. They both work hard, play hard - and I’m always stunned at their vigor for life, hard work, and how quick they both are to smile.

is quickly becoming an incredible floral designer, and is surpassing my skills with a vase. I think it comes from her time spent painting as .decorativepainting. Griffin, her sweet pup, and Shay bring so much joy, silliness, and quick-witted humor to our crew.

If you ever see any of our Wild Flora crew off the farm, give them a hello and thank them for all their hard work and dedication to bringing the best of our farm to the world. It truly wouldn’t be possible to produce the amount of flowers and bouquets we grow without them!

Happy American Grown Flowers Week! Didn’t know this was a holiday that you already celebrate? That’s ok - your local flower farmers know. Because if you buy from them, you’re already a partaker in the salute to all the dedication, perseverance, joy, and beauty that encompasses this week.
