Some moments deserve more than a photograph. They deserve to be remembered for the story behind them. 🤍
This senior session was especially meaningful because she is graduating from her mother’s alma mater, wearing the very same cap and gown her mom once wore.
And while we were photographing her, there was another story happening just behind the camera.
Mom was watching.
Taking it all in.
Watching her daughter step into a milestone she once experienced herself.
Proud in that way only a mother can be.
We knew we couldn’t let those moments live only behind the scenes, so we invited Mom into the photographs.
Because one day, these images won’t just remind her of her senior year.
They’ll remind them both of the legacy, the pride, and the woman who was there watching it all unfold. 🎓
Some portraits become family heirlooms.
I have a feeling these will.

This session was an absolute dream. Their parents were completely wrapped up in their new little world, and big brother Jhett was SO proud to be a big brother to his babies. 🤍

We discovered something even better than saying “CHEESE!”
🌮 “SAY TACOS!” 🌮
Instant genuine smiles. 😂
Fun fact: Jhett DOES NOT EVEN EAT TACOS. 😂😂
Apparently, just saying the word is enough to make him smile!

Today we had the opportunity to spend the day at Boothville-Venice Elementary School photographing their amazing students and staff, and we truly loved every minute of it! 🤩

With that being said… I’m SO excited and proud to officially announce that Nola Treasured Memories is now the school photographer for Boothville-Venice Elementary School! 🖤🧡

Being a Plaquemines Parish graduate, there’s something so special about building my business in the same parish I grew up in. Then now having the opportunity to photograph another public school right here in our community. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust our local schools place in my small business to capture memories that will end up in yearbooks, on walls, and in family keepsake boxes for years to come. 🥹

From the smiling kiddos to the teachers and staff who welcomed us today, we had such a wonderful first picture day at BVES. Thank you, Boothville-Venice Elementary, for welcoming Nola Treasured Memories. We can’t wait for everything ahead! 🖤🏗️🧡
