This precious blue-eyed birthday girl looked absolutely perfect in her little sailor dress for her 1st birthday portraits. Simple, vintage-inspired, and full of heirloom charm — the kind of images that will still feel beautiful generations from now.
One of the most meaningful touches was incorporating her mother’s childhood rocking chair into the session, making these portraits even more special and full of history. 🩵🎂

🙏 Can we all come together please for little Cyrus?

He’a a sweet boy who already survived two open-heart surgeries is now fighting for every minute.

Two-year-old Cyrus was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a rare and serious heart defect that meant his fight began almost the moment he entered the world.

He underwent open-heart surgery at just four days old, then again at five months old. When he was eight months old, he went into heart failure, but doctors were able to pull him back.

His family thought they were walking into a routine appointment this month.

Instead, Shelby says doctors discovered Cyrus was in severe heart failure.

Days later, his condition rapidly worsened and his heart began showing signs of giving out. She says he nearly coded in his father’s arms before doctors stabilized him.

Now Cyrus is too weak for major interventions, but his family is holding onto hope.

Doctors believe Houston Texas Children’s may offer his best chance, possibly with a ventricular assist device, sometimes called a Berlin Heart, to help bridge him toward a heart transplant.
