Witchcore season has officially entered the chat, and no, a pointy hat is not required.

Take the sweetest character you know.

Now ruin their day. 👀

A Halloween AU doesn’t mean covering everything in fake blood until nobody knows who you’re supposed to be. The fun part is making the character creepy while keeping them instantly recognizable.

Keep their signature colors, hairstyle, silhouette, or iconic accessory, then start twisting the details.

That adorable pastel dress? Distress the fabric and darken the palette.
The cute bow? Make it oversized, torn, or suspiciously stained.
Their signature prop? Give it a horror-movie backstory.
Perfect wig? Add messy strands and make it look like something definitely happened five minutes before the photo.

The vampire aesthetic isn’t going anywhere. It’s just getting a wardrobe upgrade.

Think less “Halloween costume in a bag” and more immortal character who somehow has incredible taste. Keep the gothic drama, but play with modern silhouettes: oversized coats, fitted corsetry, sheer layers, structured shoulders, wide-leg trousers, or a sleek monochrome look.

Then bring back the vampire energy through the details. Deep burgundy velvet. Black lace. Antique silver hardware. A dramatic collar. One suspiciously beautiful piece of jewelry that definitely has a 300-year backstory.

Okay, imagine this: your favorite character receives a mysterious black envelope.

Midnight. Formal attire. Masks required.

Now comes the fun part. What would they wear?

Keep the details that make the character instantly recognizable, but give everything a gothic masquerade upgrade. Their usual jacket becomes a dramatic velvet coat.
