If there's one thing that sets Texans apart, it's their fortitude and drive to overcome insurmountable odds.

Father, our hearts grieve over the tremendous loss flooding our home state. We ask You for your comfort and peace to rest in the hearts and minds of all those affected by the rising waters. We ask for the tangible strength You alone can give. You have promised to be with us, and to be our ever present help in times of need. Well, we need you now. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.

Thank you to all who have reached out to us to check on our family and friends in the region. We know many who are affected by this event, and our hearts and prayers remain persistent as rescue efforts continue. May the power of God be made mightily manifest in these trying times.
