This was a blast! What an amazing group!

THANK YOU to our amazing workshop presenters for making our first ever Gallatin County 4-H Junior Rec Lab a meaningful and impactful experience this past weekend! Because of them, 55 youth (ages 8–12) were able to engage in a dynamic afternoon of hands-on learning, choosing from 18 unique workshops and diving into topics that sparked curiosity and built confidence.

Their willingness to teach, mentor, and create interactive experiences allowed youth to:
• Try something completely new in a safe, supportive environment
• Build practical skills and explore potential passions
• Strengthen communication and teamwork through active participation
• Experience the power of learning by doing

From STEM and agriculture to creative arts and life skills, their workshops brought the event to life and ensured every young person had the opportunity to discover something that excited them. Just as importantly, they helped introduce our younger members to the broader 4-H experience, giving them a glimpse of what future opportunities can look like and helping build their confidence to continue growing within the program.

This event simply would not have been possible without them! THANK YOU🍀🍀
