I'm revisiting this winter-inspired styled wedding shoot to highlight the beauty of combining fresh & silk florals. Blending the two allows for greater flexibility in color, texture & flower selection, helping bring your floral vision to life without being limited by seasonality.
Set against a snowy backdrop, this design embraced a refined European-inspired aesthetic. Intentional floral design, elegant details, and a touch of modern romance transformed the winter landscape into something unexpected, distinctive & sophisticated.

Here’s a closer look at the custom planters we designed for Rj’s Mini-Mart of Brooten, inc. in Brooten!
For these containers, I chose a bold combination of chartreuse & magenta, with burgundy undertones. The contrast between the bright chartreuse foliage & the rich jewel-toned flowers creates a display that really stand out from a distance!

Unique plants I'd like to highlight:

𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲- One of the key vining plants, offering aromatic foliage, excellent heat tolerance & beautiful thick trailing growth. Its chartreuse tone helps brighten, yet at the same time it softens (literally soft leaves) the entire design with its big & round lush foliage.

𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘃𝘆 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗺- Brings lush trailing movement & bold burgundy blooms. Perfect for window boxes & planters where you want that full, cascading look.

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲- Adds the most unique texture with its fuzzy, tassel-like magenta blooms. It’s eye-catching adds something a little unexpected & fun!

After sharing the loss of two beloved pets this week, it feels especially close to my heart to highlight something centered around animals, community & giving back.

A dear 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 takes used feed bags, washes & repurposes them into amazing reusable totes! Not only does it keep materials out of landfills, but 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, including Pope County Humane Society, Glenwood, MN & Hawk Creek Animal Shelter. What kindness, talent & heart she has!!

We currently have lots of sizes & varieties in store, with more dog & cat-themed bags coming soon!

You all know my passion for reusing & supporting animals, so this couldn’t align more with what I love. Such a beautiful way to give back while supporting something handmade!
