We were proud to be a part of The Monmouth Mile again this year along with The Outpost Running & Walking Co. and On . 11 men broke 4:00 last night, led by Sam Ellis of the Atlanta Track Club Elite in 3:56.2

After breaking 4:00 for the first time last year at the The Outpost Running & Walking Co. Monmouth Mile, Ryan Fowkes ran 3:38 in a fast 1500 at The Elliott Denman NJ International T&F Meet at Monmouth University Athletics in July. Ryan will be back at CBA for this year’s On Monmouth Mile!

Congrats to the Asbury Park Dr. George Sheehan Classic 5K champions! Josh Izewski roared to a 14:29.5 for the overall win, while Rosemary Shay of Middletown South and Villanova took the women’s title in 16:49.8 . Photos for all are available through the following link:

Big news at this year’s Big Bang Mile! There was a new meet record and a new American age group record. Joshua Izewsi of Doylestown, PA, eclipsed the men’s meet record that had stood since 2022 by running 4:13.10!! Running in the same Open Men heat, Rick Lee smashed his own American record for the 65-69 age group by 7 seconds, cranking out an amazing 5:01.49!
We also hailed Fiona Bayly of New York, NY, for winning the women’s 50+ heat in 5:33.10 and the masters women’s age grading competition with 93.39%.

Thanks to all those who joined us for The Shore Athletic Club 6th Annual Big Bang Mile at Bell Works. Kerry D**e just missed the meet record winning the women’s title, while teammates Troy Hill and Michael Bond went 2-3 on the men’s side. The Shore AC open & masters teams won every open and masters category in the event that served as the 2026 USATF New Jersey Road Mile Championship.
