Peoria IL- 4 Mile USATF National Championship
turned out very well for our Shore AC teams and individuals!!!
All four of our complete teams won: M80+ (unopposed), M70+, W50+ and W40+ (unopposed). (Our M50+ team was incomplete).
Karen dos Santos placed second overall among women!!
We had several make the age group podium as well: Karen dos Santos (W40-44), Alysia Puma (W50-54), Alexandra Marzulla (W55-59), Shane Anthony (M55-59), Suzanne La Burt (W60-64), Susan Stirrat (W70-74)Przemyslaw Nowicki (M80-84) and Roland Cormier (M80-84). Jim Linn (M70s) Kevin Dollard (M 70s)

We join our friends at Christian Brothers Academy (New Jersey) in celebrating Dr, George Sheehan. The Running Doctor had a huge influence on the health and fitness movement at the Jersey Shore and beyond. We invite you to join us in honoring him and his family at the Sheehan Classic 5K finishing on the Asbury Park Boardwalk on Saturday August 8. The USA Track & Field Masters 4 Mile Championships in Peoria yesterday turned out to be a GREAT day for our Shore A.C. teams and individuals. All four of our complete teams won: M80+, M70+, W50+ (pictured here) and W40+. Karen dos Santos placed second overall among women. Suzanne La Burt earned a podium spot in age grading. We had several age group winners as well: Karen dos Santos (W40-44), Alysia Puma (W50-54), Alexandra Marzulla (W55-59), Shane Anthony (M55-59), Suzanne La Burt (W60-64), Przemyslaw Nowicki (M80-84) and Roland Cormier (M85-89).

SAC Success At Ridgewood & Wayne !!
Captain Scott’s Recap-
Our masters men shook off the rain at the Ridgewood 10K on Memorial Day and surfed to sweet victory in the 40+, 50+ and 60+ categories and captured second in 70+.

Then, yesterday, a 26-person contingent of cohorts in Shore AC colors rode the wind to a win in the Wayne Rotary 5K. In doing so, they evened up the score with Fleet Feet / Essex in the 2026 USATF-NJ Co-Ed Team Grand Prix. Among the big contingent of The Shore Athletic Club athletes at the Spring Lake 5 were Ryan Corbett and Bobby Tuzzio. Bobby became the top finisher among Spring Lake residents for the 9th time.

We are proud to provide support today to the Monmouth Ocean Parochial League (MOPL) Championship Meet in Middletown. Up next: our The Shore Athletic Club All-Comers Meets at Ranney School in June, and the Elliott Denman NJ International Meet at Monmouth University Track & Field on July 11.
